@ yeah, it’s a fantastic amp, I use mine to gig with too. I disconnect the 12”, and jack into my Marshall MX212R quarter stack, and the thing sounds amazing, cuts right thru the mix with my GLP. Anywho, great lesson. Just got done learning Achilles Last Stand, a beast of a song, and stumbled upon your channel. Setting I like using on my amp (left to right): 5.5 - 5 Classic Gain / 4 - 6 Ultra Gain / 3.8 T - 6 M - 3 B / 4 P - 6 R / 8 CR - 3UR / 10 M1- 8.5 M2. My volume pedal helps retain gig settings when practicing in the garage. Then there’s a full board with lots of goodies.
I enjoy listening to you my problem was I just don't have the patience, a friend of mine took guitar lessons he said next lesson we learn how to bend strings I said you mean like this I said you don't have to have lessons for that just have some imagination, play Rock it's probably the most fun, Rock isn't just Metallica and led Zeppelin, try flirting with disaster by Molly hatchet, some stuff like that where you have to jump around like a cricket on a hot skillet, it's the kind of stuff I really enjoyed playing or attempting to play, little by little I'm getting Flirten with Disaster. Just saying there's more to rock then the mainliners.
👍🏼 I don’t think you saw my video about easy riffs to learn. Check it out when you can, Molly Hatchet - Beating The Odds, is one of them. I've always been a big fan of Molly Hatchet. Flirting With Disaster is a great guitar tune, as well. Let me know if you see it 👍🏼😃🎸 thanks for sharing your experiences, it helps all of us.
I'm running my Gibson LP straight into my Marshall DSL-40C Amplifier, no pedals, just high gain. Check out my video on how to play Rock Guitar - Lesson 1, and you can see a snapshot of my amp settings. Thanks for checking out the video and glad you enjoyed it!
I really like the basics you cover and how you show how we can use them to play Led Zeppelin!!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 👍🏼😃🎸 stay tuned for more!
I like this guy he doesn't ramble on he just gets to it.

Yes they are! Suhr Humbuckers. Thanks for checking out the guitar lesson!
Fantastic lesson! This might be obvious to everyone but me, but what effects are you using to get that sound?
