First you have to cut off all ties to any friends or any other hobbies that might distract you, dedicate at least 6 hours everyday to playing and learning riffs scales and little tricks, in about a year you will be on the fast track to shredding like a god and the friends and bitches will come in hordes at you xD Just kidding, just practice and push yourself to new areas. I stuck to what I knew and over time i learned cool things but I will never be better than a rhythm guitarist because im about to be a dad and cant dedicate that kind of time every day anymore
Alex Kaufman , quit lying to the kid! The answer is lots of wanking! Don't worry about phrasing because it doesn't matter, the only thing you should be trying to do is put as many notes as humanly possible. Also, why does Jacky Vincent's tone suck so hard?
You're incredibly talented. Falling in Reverse is my favorite band and you really do their solos justice. :D Great job on "Goodbye Graceful," which seems like the hardest and is my personal favorite of all the solos. c:
Learn an easy scale and play it slowly and gradually go faster as you get better. Play each note individually but use your picking hand like your strumming. That's basically the basics to how to do it I guess
good work man i have been tring to argue with someone on here abou the difficulty of these solos and you proved me right. they are not that hard not to say you any less of a guitar player, it's just that these solos are not as technical as they sound. once again however stellar job
the first guitar he is playing is probably a gibson lespaul, either a studio or standard version. At a quick glance i thought it was a ESP because of the pinstripe along the body, but if you look at the trust rod cover you can see. The V shaped guitar he plays next is a flying V guitar from Jackson. I never owned a jackson, so i'm not sure of the model or anything.
dude you are a fucking Beast-O-Saurus. I've been playing for 10 years, and i went more the blues/pop/rock route, although i still love my metal, i just could never get fast enough to play the stuff i listened to. I would never be able to transcribe a solo like that by ear. Especially the sweeps, must have been so hard frustrating. Well done, and keep up the good work
Jacky is lead guitarist. no arguements hands down. and you can use any guitar to shred that feels comfortable to you if you have the ability too. i recommend jackson guitars or schecter. yes, synyster gates uses a schecter and jacky uses a jackson soloist. both are very nice guitars. i have a hellraiser schecter myself, saving up for the soloist next. both very, very nice guitars with great capability to shred on
I have a B.C Rich. they're pretty good shredding guitars. But if you don't think so, I'm pretty sure Jacky uses a Sketcher. I don't know if you'r a fan or not, but Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold uses a Sketcher as well, and he shreds like crazy.
Wow! That was so good! I'm currently learning the solo from im not a vampire, I thought that was hard and then saw these ever harder ones. Maybe if I survive I'm not a vampire I'll attempt the others. You're really good though
Once you understand the scale you can get the rest by ear. That guy knows the higher scales and heard them a lot. I'm not surprised that he got it by ear especially after playing it for a few years
@noobker no, thank you! never seen somebody as good as you i gotta admit dude! i love etf and falling in reverse but you're a competitant to BellD62 dude! he does bvb and shizz but you're so amazing, i mean... Those sweeps! O.O
I will never understand how people get this fucking good.
Wanking.

Alex Kaufman I've been trying to learn the same sweep for about eight months now and I still can't get it down DX

You're incredibly talented. Falling in Reverse is my favorite band and you really do their solos justice. :D Great job on "Goodbye Graceful," which seems like the hardest and is my personal favorite of all the solos. c:

good work man i have been tring to argue with someone on here abou the difficulty of these solos and you proved me right. they are not that hard not to say you any less of a guitar player, it's just that these solos are not as technical as they sound. once again however stellar job

Man, you did it. You're now one of us.
@BigInPantss thanks man :) Most of the solos are basically just minor scales and minor arpeggios.

This leaves me going 'OH MY GOD!!!!' each second. This is freakin' amazing.

Hell ya man! You have a real talent for playing- this is epic!!

That is some serious guitar skill! I don't think ill ever be at that level!
Nicely done.
Most cover solo's you hear dont actually sound like the record.
But you pulled it off.
Nice
absolutely brilliant mate
@rikrushio33 learn the pattern, practice it slow, gradually build up your speed.
Best part of this band is their guitarist, you do an excellent job at them! :D
BOOM! That was my mind being blown! This is AWESOME.
Wow! That was so good! I'm currently learning the solo from im not a vampire, I thought that was hard and then saw these ever harder ones. Maybe if I survive I'm not a vampire I'll attempt the others. You're really good though
