The swab absorbs all the liquid in the tube. I squeezed as much as I could out of the swab. I only got one liquid drop for the test, and 3 bubble foamy "drops" if you can call them that.
I've tried two tests and haven't got a single drop out of the tube yet. It looks like there's a white plug inside the tips in my kit, so it seems like there's no way for the liquid to come out in the first place.
I've tried 3 times. First time no liquid, 2nd time frothy liquid and 3rd time the first 2 drops were perfect then tge rest was froth. I gave up after that
Same.
Test is garbage
A HUGE flaw in this design is that there is not enough fluid in the tube. Most of the fluid soaks into the tip of the swab so when you go to put 4 drops into the cassette, there are not enough and all you get is foam.
Hi Jack Zucker, We' re sorry you are having trouble. please mail your problem directly to: covidselftest-usa.dl@siemens-healthineers.com. Thank you.
Same!
@@rockybarnes4906Same for me. All foam no drops
Then squeeze what was absorbed into the tube.
So true. Did 3 test and all I got was frothy liquid. Finally just gave up. I would most definitely not recommend this test!
I have worked for Siemens, for many many years, in a way different field than the Health field. With that said, when I saw the box with "Siemens" on in it I felt like I was 'home'. For those who don't read small print very well, this is a very good video that shows how to use it. But after watching the video, the first time I used it I didn't have a single problem putting it to use. Thank you for the great video.
Thank you for posting this video. It was very helpful to me, since I cannot read the manual included in the package. May I suggest though to include audio descriptions of how a test is performed in future videos? That way, more people can understand how one of your tests is properly performed. Thank you. :)
I felt the same way. Tiny writing and I have ADHD I can't focus for that long reading that tiny font.
Then how did you write this message?
@@chobin7982 Blind people or people hard of seeing are a thing. As are screenreaders, voiceover, and magnifying software. Or Braille readers. Each of which will not be able to help out with small printed manuals or videos with no vocal explanation.
@@SolanPsi ohhhh i see. Okay, now im
More educated about the subject. Thank you
Thank you! My Covid tests came with no manual I had no idea where to begin!
The manual doesn’t help anyway.
Thank you. Is video was helpful. Every simple and easy.
Very helpful video that is well needed.
Thank you very much for this helpful video
Mine foamed, but it did work after all.
Really helpful. Thank you!
Very helpful thank you😍
Easy and simple
I am currently working for Siemens Healthineers of Saudi Arabia, and yesterday I had to check if I have covid. When I saw the logo of Siemens Healthineers I felt proud. It was kinda strange feeling the company you are working for serves you.
Thank you. ❤
Used one , and got postive 😞
😨
Sad react
Hope you're all better now🌼
@@kingstonxenachante2874 thanks.. it went well :) I wish everyone a good health.
Always problems with the dropping of the test tube ( liquid incl nose secret). It won t give drops.. if you press a little stronger the whole tip of the testtube comes of. It s bad
I had that the first time, but the second time I gave the liquid a few seconds to find its way through the white foam rubber near the tip. It seems that this foam acts as a filter, but you have to give it a few seconds. If you rush it and squeeze the tube it will force the top off. Hope that helps.
I agree there isnt much liquid in the tube. Then the tip had something inside that blocked the sample solution from coming out. Thrice ive pressed it so hard the top came off. Got results cause what was left got into the sample hole
This is pretty cool
I've looked at some 15 videos . MY Test shows Two BLACK Lines and eventually the top one turns pink the bottom one stays BLACK. Two tests. Same result, black on bottom pink on top. This result is not shown on the instructions or any video I watch. Anyone have an answer? Sweety pie is out getting other tests done because of this odd result.
I'm neurodivergent and found this completely helpful. Thank you.
Remember kids, let you snot cocktail soak for 15 minutes.
What if the second line was thin or weak ?
As long as the control line is visible, test results are reliable.
My results were a red line for the control and a black line for the test. What does that mean?
Exactly what I just posted. I did two tests, black line on bottom pink on top. I can't find a video Anywhere describing this result. And the two black lines took a few seconds to appear and then the top one began to pink up after some minutes. Bottom stayed black
@@TheHypnotstCollector these are positive test results! (had covid) hope that things went okay
hi, is this made in Zhejing China by OrientGene?
Would have been nice to get a tube holder FFS !
The box it came in is the tube holder.
1:45 where did the liquid come from?
be nice to have powerpoint slides so we can print these off and place up on wall for all to see.
You can pause the video, take screenshots, crop the images to size, and then print those for what you need.
@@Milesamanjaro too much work for some people
Or maybe just send the link out good grief some people are so incompetent
@@Milesamanjaro No one wants Covid.
Negative on first try. I am good and I was freaking out
What does light C and dark T line mean??
As long as the control line is visible, test results are reliable. Even a faint line at the "T" indicates a positive result. If in doubt, please repeat the test or contact your doctor or emergency medical service provider for additional guidance.
How do you get the stupid white bit out of the dropper
You don't remove it. Leave it there, and when you are ready to put 4 drops into the test hole, hold the tube over the hole for a few seconds to allow the liquid to work its way through the white form rubber.
The directions on step 4 are confusing as it says to “squeeze several times from OUTSIDE the tube”. What?? From outside of the tube? That makes no sense since the diagrams in the directions, as well as in this video, contradict it. It would do no good to squeeze the swab OUTSIDE of the tube if the liquid on the q-tip is what needs to be tested.
Nothing in the directions say to take the hard plastic piece that’s blocking the tube from releasing the liquid out I have now wasted multiple test because had no idea it was there and the liquid would not come out of the tube you need to include this in the directions and in your video
Each dropper tip contains a small, white, round filter that filters the sample to prevent excess mucus or other contaminants in the solution from being deposited into the test cassette.
But with the filter it’s really hard to get any drops out.
The instruction says not to use if it's expired but I can't find a date. If it's coded, where is it can how is it decoded?
Please find more information and to confirm the updated expiration date of your kit, you can visit our website: www.clinitest.siemens-healthineers.com/us/shelf-life-extension”
Could you use an even smaller manual text size? It's not small enuff.
como carajos dando 5 circulos en mi nariz voy a recolectar 4 gotas
No. First there is almost no fluid in tube and the tiny bit there is in it get absorbed by the swab. Tried multiple time and it's just NOT working.
Hi, Oumy Neferti, We' re sorry you are having trouble. Please mail your problem directly to: covidselftest-usa.dl@siemens-healthineers.com.Kind regards.
What if T Line was black and C Line was red?
Even a faint line at the "T" indicates a positive result. If in doubt, please repeat the test or contact your doctor or emergency medical service provider for additional guidance.
🇽🇰💛💙
Swab absorbed all of the liquid. Very poor design and most likely not as accurate do to the fact you have to squeeze the liquid out of the swab to try and even get anything on the testing strip. Binax Now has a much better test in my opinion.
We' re sorry you are having trouble. Please mail your problem directly to: covidselftest-usa.dl@siemens-healthineers.com. Thank you.
Worst tests ! Used all five on one person just because the liquid wouldn’t come through I even waited seconds. Doesn’t work
Thank you for pointing out that further instruction is needet. We are sorry you are having a trouble. Each dropper tip contains a small, white, round filter that filters the sample to prevent excess mucus or other contaminants in the solution from being deposited into the test cassette.
All of my tubes were dry.

Mine foams… why is mine foaming?
Mine foamed it was NOT liquid that came out after I put my swab in the liquid

Mine was the same way. I cannot get this test to work at all.
@@Ltmotley they definitely don't work. We got 3 boxes of 3 different kinds. These were negative. But the other box where positive. We went in for a *professional test" because it was so wishy washy.
