I couldn't drop four drops into the device. Only one clear drop was released from the vial, followed by a lot of bubbles.
I had the same experience. Did you have to repeat the test?
I got no drops and now they are expensive, this is so disappointing

I couldn't get the fluid to go through the dropper tip, then I ended up squeezing too hard and the top popped out of the dropper. That of course nullified the test. Any advice when we can't get the dropper to work? I tried on (& wasted) 2 tests already. Is there supposed to be that white part inside the tip? Seems like that's blocking the fluid.
It should be known that excessive mucus may hinder or slow the flow of liquid through the filter. However, slow persistent squeezing of the tube should allow the droplets to flow. Note that squeezing near the top of the tube could cause excess pressure and result in the dropper tip ‘popping’ off. If this issue persists with other components of the test, please contact our technical support for further assistance.
@@SiemensHealthineers the nozzle tips are defective. They're blocked. The nozzle tips pop off when the tube is squeezed whether it's liquid or air in the tube. All of the Clinitests I've received so far have defective nozzles. I'm unable to get an accurate result.
@@Maxylvania same experience. I ended up poking a needle through to check, and confirmed that the white part was totally blocked

There is not enough fluid in my test kits to get four drops. I got about one drop, and then a lot of bubbles. I have a lot of these test kits, and they all expire in 1/2024, so what I have started doing is combining the fluid from two test kits, bringing the level of the fluid in the vial that I am going to use up to the bottom line molded into the plastic vial. I have complained to Siemens twice about this problem on their online contact form, but they do not respond.

(mine say that they expired December 2022, but I already realized they're good for another 18 months past the expiration date)
Same here, there was very little to no liquid in the vial. There was nothing to squeeze out of it. I looked at the other vials in the box, same thing. Threw the whole box in the trash. I don't recommend this covid test.
There is a hard plug in the part you put in where the drops are supposed to come out. No matter how hard I tried or how long I waited I couldn't get the drops to come out. Is this a defect? Out of all 8 tests none of them worked. I even just put plain water in one of the tops and let it sit and it wouldn't let drops out. Am I supposed to take that plug out somehow??
Same, there's a white plastic plug preventing drops from coming out. Seems defective and unusable, nothing in the instructions about removing the plug.

@@SiemensHealthineers I also contacted the CA department of health. Seems Siemens landed a very lucrative contract and is sending out defective tests. How many millions are you being paid for these defective tests?
ok, now I'm ready....glad this was here to see - just finished paxlovid 2 days ago - anxious to test.
I did contact tech support for cap popping off. I shared my experience in detail. I asked them to pass along my recommendation to include a small eye dropper in each kit. Caps is defective. Excess mucus is not anything we can control. Update: if you don’t add an eye dropper to the kit then at least make the white piece under the cal out of a more porous substance so the sample liquid can pass through.

To Siemens. I strongly recommend you include a small eye dropper with each kit. The cap is defective. I have used kit several times and each time the top pops off no matter how I hold the tube. You say it’s mucus which causes top to pop off. There is no way we can control how much mucus is in our sample.. the test needs to allow for this and be redesigned. Add eye dropper please. Or make the white material on underside of the cap from a more porous substance so sample liquid can actually pass through it. I finally just took the cap off and gently poured some of the sample into the well. Although background was pinkish, line or lines clearly appear so I believe test results were valid. Please include a dropper in the kit.

Your kits do NOT work could get no fluid out once swab is introduced...this is a fail..tried three times same result..you kit wont produce enough fluid to do a test... FAIL@SiemensHealthineers

The printed instructions that come with the test should note that it's normal for the entire background of the test strip to turn light pink (as is apparent in the video). This is unlike the behavior of other tests I've used, and when I first saw it on the Siemens test, I thought perhaps my test kit had expired or malfunctioned for some reason.
4 drops exactly. is the area suppose to turn red and disappear after few minutes.
The musicis very distracting when trying to pay attention.

If someone touch the tip of the swab it doesn't work?
Does it work to detect possible asymptomatic people? I think I am a posible close contact.
At home tests work to a 95 percent degree of accuracy
I didn't see a test line at 15 minutes but saw a line a few minutes after. I am unsure if it was still within 20 minutes... definitely under 30 minutes though. I wonder how to interpret this?
The test is intended to be read at 15 minutes. If the test is read before 15 minutes or after 30 minutes, false negative or false positive results may occur, and the test should be repeated with a new test cassette.
@@SiemensHealthineers I ended up going to a testing site and getting another rapid test and a PCR test. Their rapid test showed I was negative but the PCR was positive for covid. I guess your test was correct, it just took a little longer than 15 minutes.
I am not confident in these tests. For both myself and my husband, the T line showed up immediately, and very dark. Waited the 15 minutes & there was no visible change on any of the tests. We took 3 tests from the same package and got the exact same results. Just wondering if that’s a sign that there’s an issue with the batch of tests? Cant find any info online.
Nothing showed up on mine even after an hour

Fluid cannot come through the sponge on the end of the applicator. These are completely unusable.

While helping my mom with this test, it occurred to me that this test had more steps and seemed more tedious than the tests my husband & I were sent. My mother in-law also received a test with more steps. Both of our mother’s are in the 80+ age group. I hope that the more complicated tests weren’t sent to the older age group on purpose.🤔
Its unclear to me what the instruction to "squeeze the swab tip from outside the tube" means? If the tip is inside the tube and near the bottom of the tube how does one squeeze it from outside the tube?

This is the biggest junk testers ever. Every one of mine came with hardly any fluid and not enough to complete the tests. a big waste

Worst test I’ve used. First 2 times there’s wasn’t enough liquid. Third time I combined 2 of the tubes for more liquid and could only get 1 drop without the nozzle 🤷🏼♀️ Been miserable for 3 days

These “tests” are absolutely Worthless! The instructions say 4 drops but even combining 4 fluid tests together you won’t have enough for 4 drops!
With the dry swab, you’d be lucky to get a single drop from 4 kits. These are terrible
