Hi Craig. Nice to see you again. Some very cool choices. Oingo, Modern E, OMD, Shelley, X and of course D Mode. When you see some of the names like that. It is hard not to admit that the music was so much better in those days. Well done C~ Rob/Boston
Planet Earth and Careless Memories, fav Duran Duran. Saw Stevie Nicks back in 2011 with Rod Stewart. She might have sang, but all I remember was her spinning around and around in a beaded cape for 45 mins. So, you know awesome! Go-Go's were my first concert in 1982. Opening act: A Flock Of Seagulls. Can't get much more 80's than that! 😎🎶
I still have yet to see Stevie. I was supposed to go to that tour and if I remember correctly the show was cancelled. I was also supposed to see Go-Go’s when they did the reunion tour and something happened and I wasn’t able to attend.
Oh, man! I really dig Siouxie. Her music is it's own vibe. I drew a portrait of her at a show once and sold it before I could get a scan of it. I need to do another. And I've never heard of Pete Shelley. I'm gonna listen today!
My collection includes Speak & Spell, Architecture & Morality, Homosapien, and Only A Lad. I also have Kraftwerk Computer World, Soft Cell Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret, Joan Jett I Love Rock and Roll, Olivia Newton-John Physical, The Cure Faith, and the Chariots of Fire soundtrack.
Hi Craig! Great series! I believe the US Duran just removed To the Shore but flipped the first 2 songs to put Planet Earth first AND use the extended Night Version, which is where they made up the time. Later they'd reissue it again when Is There Something I Should Know came out and they changed the cover photo...I'm sure you knew that!
Do one from 1975 - There Must be Some Of That in All Those records Behind You- I’m 32 Years old - Lol but For a weird reason fascinated by that year’s music.
Oingo Boingo *and* the Go-Go's, WOOOOO! I just found out the other day that Kerry Hatch, bass player on Only a Lad, used to play with *Sylvester* before moving to SoCal from San Fran... As for Beauty and the Beat, my fave song (after Our Lips are Sealed, of course) is *Can't Stop the World* even though it's a kinda' cheesy inspirational thing; it hits me just right. ❤️🔥 music.ua-cam.com/video/nS572_s4MCA/v-deo.html

I’m not sure I have a lot from 1975. I’ll look and maybe I’ll do a video after I finish this series.
I’d maybe add Pat Benatar Precious Time, but I love the Go Go’s at #1!!!
@@Onetakecharlie Also a great album! Evil Genius is one of my favorite Pat songs!
I have Duran Duran as well, is it Tel Aviv that's the instrumental? Israel was very popular this year🤣
