Thanks to Uncle Sam, my wife and I spent 3 1/2 years in Great Falls and loved every minute. Our older son was born there. The trout fishing at Giant Springs was amazing! We especially enjoyed take visitors to the Charles Russell art museum. Your video brought back happy memories. Thanks!
It's so interesting to see my home city from someone else's perspective. It's easy to forget all the little landmarks once you've become accustomed to them over the course of 28 years. A lot of the wall art is new, one of my favorites is the postcard styled "Greetings from Great Falls". I'm glad you guys had such a good time here and it's made me think that I need to be a bit more appreciative of how quiet it is here still.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Yes, we all seem to think you have to travel a long ways to see nice things and forget about what is in our own backyards. We're guilty of that as well.
Kinda looked up my home town on a whim on UA-cam but I gotta admit, as a native of Great Falls, it's feels weird to see it as a somewhat exotic locale worth visiting. That said, I'd much rather see you guys from Canada visiting than people from California or Texas. At least you guys know how to drive in snowy conditions! xp
We like getting off the beaten path and seeing what else America has to offer. By the way, we are not from Canada, but from Colorado. We do know how to drive in snowy conditions, too.
@@BackroadBuddies lol Whoops, I should read what I type before posting! No idea how I got Canada from Colorado, but yes, you guys do know your snow. Stay safe out there. :)

My home town…born 76 years gone, stayed only 20, and after watching your wonderful vlog, realizing how much I took everything for granted. 😔. It is a beautiful prairie town, full of history and beauty. Won’t see it again in person, so thank you, thank you for this emotional look back. And so happy to see the town is still looking forward. All good things, safe journeys……
@@BackroadBuddies that’s because it’s bigger in downtown near sams club Walmart that area but in the area by the library it’s medium the house area is little to none

You're welcome. Glad to hear we could take you down memory lane. We hope we did it justice.
We are in Lethbridge and are planning to go to great falls with visitors from out of town. This was a great video to get us excited about our trip
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video.

Live here it great but the illegal drugs are kinda high up
Unfortunately, drugs seem to be an issue across the whole country, but we didn't see any evidence of drugs during our visit to Great Falls.
