Our UA-cam channel reflects the same style of travel as our blog on our website. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram. If you like what you see and want to help support us, please leave a tip in our tip jar. We appreciate any size of tip, no matter how small!

You have inspired me to take a trip to Bend and spend a few days there. Looks beautiful. Thank you for sharing your fun adventures. Always enjoy your videos.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear when people like our vidoes. Glad you found the video helpful. Safe travels!
BackroadBuddies - great video! We're finally converting over to Lithium on our VanDoIt LIV. Question: I'm assuming you used the power distribution block just due to the 60amp ANL fuse small wire casing, right? Is there any reason why I couldn't use a different 60amp fuse that allowed for a larger 2/0 wire and then connect the small MPPT 10 gage to that?
Our memory is a little fuzzy, but we believe you are correct. Be sure to do your homework and your own research, as we are not experts. If you haven't already, also read our related blog post, as the same material might be explained a little differently (www.redtaillodge.com/blog/upgrading-to-lithium-batteries-part-2).
@@BackroadBuddies No worries - thanks for replying !
@@MarkSortino Good luck with your conversion!
Fantastic Video Ann! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
How interesting! Thanks for sharing.
It was our pleasure!
British columbia is beautful as always
Yes it is!
The wife and I want to try and make it out there next year. We love finding new places go camping. Thanks for sharing!
It was our pleasure! We hope you get to go and enjoy it.
Very Nice Ann! I put Lassen on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for you kind words. Glad we could help you add to your bucket list.
Regarding the heated spaces like the garage, why are they only heated when you’re parked?
That's because they are heated by our furnace, not the Ford Transit engine. The furnace runs on propane and it is not safe to leave the propane turned on when driving down the road, so we never have the furnace on when driving. Thus, the spaces are only heated when we are parked, and turn on the propane and the furnace.
Excellent garage shelf!! With good photos
Thank you for your kind words. Glad to hear you appreciated the video. Thanks for watching.
When you’re installing shelving or any brackets into walls, do you put glue on the screws to help prevent them getting loose?
No, but that's a great idea. Our only concern would be if we wanted to remove the screws later for some reason. We haven't had any issues with screws loosening up, but we'll keep that in mind.
Thank you for your video, beautiful scenery, that's awesome!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
What do you use for a vacuum cleaner? I'll be traveling with a golden retreiver
We don't have pets, so we don't use a vacuum cleaner very often. We mainly use just a little hand broom and dust pan. When we do use a vacuum, its a Black and Decker dustbuster that we carry with us. There should be a link to it on our gear page: www.redtaillodge.com/gear/#rv-accessories
Nice video!! Thanks!!👍😎👍
Thank you for your kind words. And thanks for watching!
Great and beautiful place. We love visiting the Tahoe area. We were lucky to spend a few nights at the Sugar Pine campground and it once at the Fallen Leaf Lake campground. Lots and of hiking opportunities. Can’t wait till they finish the work on the D.L. Bliss campground. We once paddled from there to the Emerald Bay to the Fannette Island, walked around and the paddled back to D.L. Bliss. There’s also a great trail to hike along shore, the Rubicon Trail. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the additional ideas for camping, hiking, and paddling in the Tahoe area. We'll have to explore those the next time we visit.
IT WAS MY FAVORITS PLACES IN ALASKA 😢😢😢MISS A LOT ❤❤❤

My great-grandfather was an OG person in the Tok area, his legacy is full of child fuckers and the people that hide their history. Tok is a sick place stay away.
Wonderful! from Korea. I love new mexico much. Mean Geology of N M.
Glad to hear you enjoyed our video. And yes, the landscape of Nevada is very similar to New Mexico. Thanks for watching.
Another enjoyable video! Thanks for sharing!
Glad to hear you liked it. And thanks again for watching.
Since I discovered your channel about a month ago I've become addicted to your videos. Your storytelling is superb! My wife and I are actually deciding on buying a Leisure Travel Van and your content has been a great helper to create a foundation for the adventures we're planning to do. They have open a great window into the places to visit, gear, costs, planning, etc. We just love the way you've set up your channel. Congratulations!
Thank you so much for all of your kind words. We are so glad that you find our videos useful and entertaining. It means so much to us knowing that we are helping others. We hope you get to start your own great adventures soon. Happy trails!
I worked for bc parks back in the summer of 2001. We weather stained all the boardwalk planks on that trail. Ei 7:44 😊
Thank you for your efforts! And thanks for watching.
Nicely done! Lived in that area for 72 years before moving to Wisconsin seven years ago. It's a gorgeous area and I miss it. All the covered bridges you show were either severely damaged or totally wiped out by hurricane Irene in 2011. There are some amazing UA-cam videos.showing the Quechee covered bridge and Simon Pearce glass works being pummeled by the flood water. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words. Glad to hear you enjoyed our video. We'll have to look up those videos on the bridges. Thanks for the info.
Good one Ann! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words and thanks for watching.
I leave for there in a week as well, should be there by Labor Day. Thanks for the info.
Glad you found our video helpful. Have a great time!

We hope you enjoyed your time in Hutchinson.
Is it possible to find a job opportunity in the countryside? I used to work on a poultry farm to produce eggs, but the English language is weak. I am working to improve and I am good at using translation programs in conversation. I have worked in many jobs before that.
This is not the appropriate channel to look for a job. We wish you luck in your search.
Hello , i want a help can anyone respond
What do you need help with?
?Esdilagh First Nation, your roof is in need of repair. Or are you waiting for it to collapse and the city to pony up and fix it for you.

I should of had many flats on my e-bike due to the thorns I rode through, Luckily I saw a video on FlatOut which I purchased and use. No flats yet, not even a low tire! I used 16oz/tire.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful tip about FlatOut. We'll have to check into that.
I was editor of the biweekly Dawson Creek Star from 1959 to 1961. When I first travelled up the Hart Highway it was gravel. It was summer and I didn't see any mountains because there was too much dust. My wife and I arrived before the PGE, the railway that came up from north Vancouver. During my time as editor there were five elevators all full with cereal crops. Wilbur Wright if I remember rightly was president of the local Rotary Club.
Thank you for sharing some history with us. It is always nice to hear about local connections to a place.
My grandpa owns the cheveron in Tok alaska
Cool!
My mother was born and raised here. My father raised here. I was born and finished high-school here. I have such fond memories of Hutch.
We hope our video brought back some of those memories for you. Thanks for watching!
