When Gio Van Bronckhorst played in Scotland for Rangers, he scored a whole lot of goals, and none of them were tap-ins. Just a great all-round footballer.
That should've never happened because there's a HUGE foul at1:09 by Van Bommel. And there's also a HUGE offside at 2:58. So two goals that never should've happened. Thank God they lost in the final.
Van Persie wasn't offside because the ball didnt touch his foot.
But his movement definetely confused the goal keeper. He was a participant in the goal. So yes, it is offside.

At this moment, I was sitting with some friends on the back bench in a bus from in Romania. Another friend was keeping us up to date via SMS. The other passengers couldn't understand why we cheered and yelled off and on. We didn't see the goal of Van Bronkhorst until the day before the final. Great holiday, but still recovering from the loss :P

abel bolbo 12 arbitral fails that favored Netherlands, just 1 favored Uruguay. All fails.Btw, Van Bronckhorst goal should have never existed, there was a foul commited by Van Bommel against Gargano, even Van Bommel knew it was foul but the referee didn’t saw it (you can clearly see how Van Bommel stands still after it and the rest of the team slows the rithm)

Conceicao1976 umm, yes they do lol, a foul can literally make a goal ocassion or prevent one. Van Bronhorst goal should’ve never existed, there was foul against Gargano seconds before it happened, it was a clear yellow card, but the referee didn’t saw it. Even the players slow down a bit but as the referee didn’t say anything they kept going. So yeah, a foul can make a clear difference.
Imagine if there was VAR and Van Bronckhorst's goal had been disallowed for a foul.

Forlan needed "fuel" to score amazing goals in this tournament. When they faced Ghana, Muntari scored a powerful long range goal. Forlan saw it and minutes later he scored an amazing free kick goal. In this game it happened again. The first goal from Netherlands was just outstanding. Forlan saw it and minutes later he scored a great goal too.

EXACTO!!! Por muy espectacular que se vea a primera vista, es un error del portero Muslera. Los antiguos resaltaron que no debió lanzarse desde la mitad del arco hacia el costado (1:33), lo que debió haber hecho, por instinto, es dar dos simples pasos hacia su izquierda, estirar los brazos y ese balón no entra....me extraña con el colmillo que tienen los entrenadores de arqueros Uruguayos.

@@Perno007 Ghana ni siquiera mereció llegar al alargue, solo en el primer tiempo uruguay tuvo varias jugadas de gol hasta una que al arquero de Ghana le rebota la pelota en la cabeza, uruguay pudo haber cerrado tranquilamente el partido en los 90 y llegar entero a jugar con holanda , que casualidad ese año suarez era el goleador de la liga holandesa y el arquero y defensores de holanda sus compañeros del Ajax a los que suarez en ese momento estaría harto de hacerles goles en las prácticas, con suarez más Forlan y cavani en cancha y un arbitraje serio uruguay se lo comía crudo a Holanda en esa semi
