That's a great deal. I honestly wish more bands collaborated that way, maybe even with albums. Like just imagining a double lp like that but it's like Immolation - Dawn Of Possession and Incantation - Onward To Golgotha.
The first split album I ever saw was 1993s Emperor/Enslaved and it was awesome! Emperor/Thorns have an interesting split where they cover each others songs…I wouldn’t said it’s great but definitely worth a listen
I absolutely love morbid tales and to mega therion by celtic frost but anything past that or before it I am not fan of. I don't know how I can love morbid tales but not like hellhammer but somehow hellhammer just doesn't click for me. Sodom is my second favourite thrash band so of course I consider in the sign of evil a classic. Outbreak of evil reminds me of rapid fire by judas priest and I love both songs. Persecution mania is my favourite sodom album as I really dig the thrash with a drop of evil black metal atmosphere that album has.
Funny that a lot of fans I've known over the years seem to like either Hellhammer or Celtic Frost, but hardly ever both. I think they're both fine, I just much prefer other shit.
That 2 in 1 Sodom/Hellhammer set is on point. I recently found a CD copy of SODOM: Demonized 2017 reissue. Ot has the 1982 Witching Metal 7in demo and the 1984 Victims Of Death 7in demo. A few other pickups I got are a blackened thrash band from Sweden I think, called Die Hard and the album is titled Evil Always Return. Another CD I got is the album Dark Descent of Fallen Souls from the Michigan black metal band SUMMON. Next one is Acid Witch: Stoned. Great satanic Death/Doom/ stoner metal. The final album I got is a 1 man Death Metal band from North Carolina, called Bloodsoaked, the first album titled Brutality Butchered. Awesome stuff. I'd highly recommend all these albums.
Nice. Summon is badass. I should revisit them, I almost forgot about them. Also I bought Witchtanic Hellucinations back when it first came out. Cool shit!

Yeah, I think it's especially a good idea for EPs. 1 EP per side.

That's not a collaboration, it's a bootleg...anyway really nice to have them both on vinyl

That 12" with both of those classic EPs is a great find!
I know, right? For $35 that was an easy snag.
@@Drewcifer yes a steal!

Sodom not 7 inches, just demo tapes originally.
My favorite Sodom release is Decision Day.
Badass! I literally just received my copy that Sodom/Hellhammer split.
Nice! That thing is badass. Dude, why is no one talking about that split on vinyl? Such a killer combo for a decent price.
@@Drewcifer Maybe because the Sodom side is incomplete. It is missing the last track!
@@OrkoSukisuki What track is missing? It has all 5 from the EP
@@Drewcifer No, it doesnt. Burst Command Till War is missing. The last track, and the best track. On the label it is listed but not on the record.
@@OrkoSukisuki DUDE! You're right. Fuuuck man that's such a banger track too. Now I'm kinda pissed.
Drew! Question: Sodom, Sadus, Exodus or early Sepultura? Which band wins?
You probably already checked it out, but how's that new Autopsy sit with you?
I did a video a couple of weeks ago on it. I like it. Not their best but still really good.
