i passed my test with 3 minor faults. people need to relax and think of it as another lesson, but with a guest instructor.... thats all. and independent driving, easy peezy. . just be cool and the outcome is an eventual pass... if u worry and shit urself, it wont help. positive attitude for anything in life..
I Passed My Driving Practical Test on the 10th of December 2009, I made 12 minors - 0 Serious. Whoever has to tale there test just make sure you be confident & aware of road signs, signals & mirror checks. Have to always look around & try not to talk to Examiner, only respone to a Question when he asked you. Its important to get a good sleep as well & never give up. You can do it. Just believe in yourself & drive safe for life!!

I took mine in Queens NY. Passed it on my second time and I had the same instructor that failed me the first time. I was no nervous; after I parallel parked I had to literally slap my leg from shaking so much.....I wonder what the instructor was thinking when I did that. =D

Step 4 is all about pointing out and knowing where you would check your car for oil and breck fual and to also know if your car has enough water and windscreen washer. It's essential to know these things yourself and to take checks every few weeks so your car does'nt breck down on you. A mechanic would laugh at you if you went to him every time to make these checks. Easy knowing you dont drive lol

I have been failing driving tests for probably more than 20 times now.Any minor error that I make is deemed to be serious all the time I go to my driving tests.I have lost confidence because I no longer know what will make me fail next. My view of examiners is now distorted as I no longer consider them to be human.When I go to a test centre the view of an examiner just makes me sick.I do not feel comfortable just being around them.
Hopefully first time i should pass i have had 5 hours of private practice and 22 hours of professional lessons with my instructor , i have passed my theory test on the 1st of march 2010 , My practical is next tuesday 12th of july 2011 at 9.07am in mourning. i am real greatfull if any1 can give me advice on how to pass i am not nervous i'm just going to think i have an instructor who i don't know next to me, my driving at the moment is great please pray for me thanx
I'm in the U.S., but I think it's great that they have to be able to name parts under the hood, bring that to the U.S! I guess that's why they call it a practical test and we just call it a driving test.

WTF? in my country 15 years ago they send me to hospital to check my vision and other health issues to make sure i don't need a glasses or i don't have other problems , then you needed to go in mental institution to make sure you not idiot on road and never been drug addict, then you go firs aid course and this was in lithuania long time ago i'm sure its more difficult now .
WTF the test in my country is nothing like this. Naming parts of the car? And we don't need an additional mirror on the other side. And the sight test is inside an office. But you do have parallel park, 3 point turn, u turn, motorway driving, roundabouts and intersections. And there is a pass/ fail quota here unlike the UK ~ they just introduced it.
I turned up to my test high on acid and thought the car was a space ship blacked out to a woman saying well done you passed then I seen a bright light it was a bus that I crashed into I was tripping balls the entire time

@IronJacks Hi not well at all I had a bitch of an examiner, I failed with 6 minors and a major lol. Approaching a roundabout with good speed turning left into a road just before got a major because I did not change the gear down to 2nd gear ended up in the other lane lol even though I was not putting any thing else at risk still failed. for that got told I was a good driver though , next time awaits for me good luck mate (-_-)

in brazil, we just drive the first piece of shit out of the junkyard while the instructor is drinking a keg of beer. cool how no accidents happen lol.
California test is much easier -shorter, no part knowing under the hood, no parallel parking (just next to the curb and backing in a straight line).

you can technically jump straight into your theory test and then practical if you feel confident enough.
not sure where you are from but where I live there is a 4 month wait for practical and a 3-4 week wait for a theory
