What are the maintenance costs? Is it really expensive to keep running?
Im thinking of buying one just for the V8,but Ive seen many comments saying it has shit reliability,while a lot of people also say its bulletproof.
I figured its best to ask actual owners and not YT commenters.
@@chubz01 Change your oil regularly and use good quality oil.
Biggest job to look out for is valve stems seals.
Oil leaks and vaccum leaks are also common.
Common non-powertrain issues include: door handle carriers, and window regulators.
But otherwise the N62 V8 is a joy!
@@chubz01I’m ngl i bought a 3.0i x5 from 2006 and we’ve literally replaced the entire engine since then, we couldve gotten a new car with the price but this car is just too worth it imo.

I saw 2005 4.4i for 6k with 110k miles, clean title. Good deal? I wanted a Jeep V8 but they are expensive for what they are..
