- www.ventrac.com/ The KX523 Snow Blower is built for when the snow accumulation becomes deep and compacted on sidewalks, driveways and other areas. This snow blower is perfect for commercial use with the Ventrac 4000 series tractors. The unit has the ability to move 4,500 pounds of snow per minute at distances up to 40 feet.
The KX523 Snow Blower is much more powerful and easy to maneuver compared to most large commercial units available. Being a 2-stage snow blower, it features a 16-inch solid auger for best snow transfer and a large 20-inch diameter fan. The hydraulically activated discharge chute can rotate 220 degrees, all from the convenience of the operator’s seat with Ventrac’s exclusive S.D.L.A control system.
As with all Ventrac attachments, high quality, durable construction is key. Standard features on the snow blower include adjustable cast iron skid shoe discs at the rear, high carbon hardened steel shoes at the side, and a reversible high carbon hardened steel cutting edge. Combine with a heated cab and drop spreader and you can tackle any part of the snowstorm, from the beginning to end.

Wow what a machine man👊👊
Niv video ventrac I have the same setup and like it each snow storm!
I need this in my life
Have to admire the simplicity of welding the impeller paddles to a big sprocket. :) That's gonna be a pretty tough impeller.
It sure is!
I would have used this this week
👍🏼 12/02/21,,that is a dang nice machine.
I love my Ventrac and snow blower but you guys really need to come up with some type of poly skids and cutting edge for guys that do a lot of concrete to help reduce scratches.
The actuator for the pitch should be standard on all these type of blowers
More dealers needed in Canada to far apart. Its over 130 km to my nearest dealer. Great Tractor though.
We bought our third one this year...from Steinbach Manitoba...they sell thru New Holland. Before that was only Ontario...sucks when you want or need mower blades.
....so what are we looking at pricewise for the KX523 model????????
Great video Aaron. Can the cab be used in conjunction with the propane kit on the 4500Z? What is the width of the skid plates? Have you tested the blower's efficacy throwing very heavy wet snow, do the augers feed the heavy wet stuff or does the machine end up pushing the snow?
Thanks Kevin - Yes - the cab can be combined with the propane kit. We have a lot of customers in Canada and in the snow belts in the US that do get wet, heavy snow and our blowers do well. It does require slowing down a bit when the snow gets heavy, but we can process it.
@@ventrac Thank you!
Are you guys working on a 3 stage blower? I would really love to see that in your lineup! I love all the videos!
You talking about that Troy Built/Cub Cadet thing? Don't count on finding that in commercial machines. The closest I've seen is large impeller designs with small "assist" augers or beaters on the sides. Sometimes those will have a much smaller extension on the impeller sticking out, but that's uncommon.
And those designs are typically on trains or machines used to clear airport runways.
@@l337pwnage it’s not just in those two. It’s also in the best snowblower company in the USA, Ariens!
The machine clearly works well, I'm not going to argue that. My question is, why is the fan speed so slow relative to typical ~1000 rpm setups on many other machines? Thanks in advance!
The lower fan speed, with all other things being equal allows our blower to be more capable at heavy snow removal. We've set ours at 790 RPM because it's a good compromise between performance and load on the engine. We can already launch snow way farther than most people will ever want or need, so being able to throw it any further (higher fan speed) would draw more power all the time for a benefit that most people won't be using ever, and few people would use very often. We've also manipulated other things like the auger shape to control the distance and spread of snow throw which helps to accomplish the benefits of a faster fan speed without experiencing the drawbacks.
Any plans for a snowblower wing kit for the 3400?
We don't have anything planned.
I have only one dream in life to accomplish before I die and thats owning Ventrac
I would do anything for one
Hopefully one day!!!!
@@ventrac I would do anything to have one
@@joshharris9093 anything?
@@joshharris9093 Just pony up 5,000 dollars
Doesn’t appear to throw snow far enough.
Tractor, cab and snowblower I’m guessing is $30,000?
More try $40k
Try 50k
They are the best most reliable tractors on the market imho
@@tt55k
I couldn’t afford one outside of winning the lottery.
@@tt55k it’s the same cost of JD4000 series or Kubota tractor. I guess if you have a lot of sidewalks it would make sense.
