If you hang the fuel pump off a tie wrap or similar it cuts right down on the tapping.

@@JakesJourneyMate tie wraps awesome idea, also you can get a foam pool float and slice down the length and wrap it around the fuel pump to Insulate the sound as well.

Hi mate, looks like your fuel pump is in-line (90°) i think it works better if the fuel pump is set at 45° .... something to do with fuel delivery and air locks.

Yes mate another tip is put thick blankets or curtains over back doors and cab that will help jake 👍👍

Jakes you are supposed to put a drill bit in the centre of the hole saw and this will stop it from bouncing around. Nicely done looks like an easy project.

I mounted my pump under the van & you can barely hear it 👍
I would get a t piece and another vent for your under bed storage, it’ll dry wet stuff you put in there and also help stop mildew in the back.
I put my fuel pump on a tie wrap dangling of a hook and was miles better

Did you ever say the brand name of the diesel heater you purchased? I missed it in the video.
That there is the best £££ spent ,
my bit of advice,switch it on before you stop the engine so it doesn’t take the energy out of the leisure battery for start up,start up and shut down are the bit that drains the most power, I’ve had mine running from 9am until bed time while camped up ☀️🥂,just crack the door or open a window if heat is too much,

I like the sound of the rain on the van, it makes it feel cosy inside and it also drowns out some of the noise of Mrs S snoring at night.
Why don't you just carefully cut the hole for the heater vent with your jigsaw? There's an overhang on the outside of the black plate to hide any minor blips.
