Nice video and like to try it. I just have a questions on the vodka part. You removed the cherries after boiling it just to pour the vodka on the sauce then pour it back on top of the cherries instead of just adding it in while in the stove. 1. did you cut a part on getting the alcohol evaporate before pouring it on top of the cherries? 2. did you remove the cherries so you can mix the vodka on the sauce well so the cherries does not get saggy? please clarify. Thanks.

Beautiful, love dried fruit like that. But, you would have to use sugar because it acts as a preservative.
