I find the GTA radio commercials funny like Little Lacey Surprise, The Barfs, Chateu De Buff, The Evacuator, Space Monkey Seven, anti-internet activists, etc as well as the talk shows like in VCPR, LCFR, WCTR, etc.
Never played these series before, but I've seen some videos of it. And it looks really interesting. Don't wanna say anything before playing the game but it got my attention.
In the Yakuza series, murder is treated as a serious crime and offense, something real mobsters also consider before committing such crime. Its minigames attempt and try to mimic the fact normal life can be just as fun and exciting, if not also quite messy. I've enjoyed both series, shit, 3D era GTA has almost the same vibe as the Yakuza series with its goofiness at times like the Truth from San Andreas. But Yakuza puts some form of grounding in its seriousness before letting shit hit the fan, despite being unbelievable, it is quite actually more realistic than the drab and satirical tone from recent GTA entries, V specifically.
Both Yakuza and GTA stay true to the culture they are based in. You're not going to see people in Yakuza doing meth on the sidewalk while coming across 10 brawls because that's just not what you'd see in Japan. They're 2 completely different cultures. GTA is about the absurdity of the average person as well as the absurdity of our politics. How Japan handles these things is vastly different.
Love the editing. I still wonder why people keep calling Yakuza the "Japanese GTA". If there's one game that could be compared to GTA, that's probably Goat Simulator (GOATed game btw), the "3rd" one to be specific. You have a big place to roam around and do whatever you want, but even then you still have the absurdity that's also present in LaD, so...none of them are like GTA. Just because they have realistic graphics, you're seriously telling me they are the same? Ah, yes, Grand Theft Auto, my favorite franchise that represents martial arts so well with its combat...
Unlike gta, yakuza actually has a 6th title to its franchise

Shining Force is a children’s book read to the players, Skies of Arcadia is a story written by soldiers on their free time, and Kenzan is a play done by these actors. It really puts you in a different perspective on how these games are meant to be enjoyed.
Now, now, hear me out. This may sounds crazy, but, I think we get it all wrong this whole time.
You see, GTA is just western Yakuza with no souls.
Love the video
brilliant showcase bro
I find the GTA radio commercials funny like Little Lacey Surprise, The Barfs, Chateu De Buff, The Evacuator, Space Monkey Seven, anti-internet activists, etc as well as the talk shows like in VCPR, LCFR, WCTR, etc.
"yakuza is just gta but worse!!!!!!"
How to counter argue: Just say there's a proper combat system.
Or literally just ask if they remember the plot of any game.
@@rafaelchavezjimenez6723 i remember the plot of gta 4 vividly...i cant say the same for yakuza 4
i remember the plot of y4 perfectly.
Yakuza is everything GTA wishes it can be, it’s the best and most insane franchise I’ve had the fortune of getting into
The essence of accurate pissing
I've said it in at least one other comment section before, but I'd say Yakuza is closer to River City Ransom than GTA.
Best intro!
Main differences: no vehicles, smaller world, no attacking civilians (most you can do is run into them) and japanese humor
Real ones 100% haruka's idol minigame
Both Yakuza and GTA stay true to the culture they are based in. You're not going to see people in Yakuza doing meth on the sidewalk while coming across 10 brawls because that's just not what you'd see in Japan. They're 2 completely different cultures. GTA is about the absurdity of the average person as well as the absurdity of our politics. How Japan handles these things is vastly different.
I'll buy the whole trilogy to play this game, it's to damm good
Uh its not a trilogy fam
@@yungoldman2823 uhhhhhh well whole series I guess🤣
Love the editing.
I still wonder why people keep calling Yakuza the "Japanese GTA". If there's one game that could be compared to GTA, that's probably Goat Simulator (GOATed game btw), the "3rd" one to be specific. You have a big place to roam around and do whatever you want, but even then you still have the absurdity that's also present in LaD, so...none of them are like GTA. Just because they have realistic graphics, you're seriously telling me they are the same? Ah, yes, Grand Theft Auto, my favorite franchise that represents martial arts so well with its combat...
Or GTA The Game that "represents internal conflicts and how The crimes afect to The protagonist" (in reality GTA has a psicopathic protagonists)
