Something that everyone forgot about him is that he has the "dummy" leitmotiv because HE is a "Dummy" in itself in the world of Deltarune. Don’t forget the soul in the battles. When you first battle metaton, your soul turns yellow. SAME WITH THE SPAMTON FIGHT, a yellow soul that has the same controls. Only difference is you can charge your soul to shoot big shots (see what I did there lol?)
We know that the Knight created the Cyber World because queen has Met the Knight and identifies them as the person who created the cyber world dark fountain. We know Queen literally met the knight because she calls the knight the "Roaring Knight" despite not knowing what the Roaring is, meaning the knight must have introduced themselves and given themselves the title.

This body was later brought to "existence" (we don't know if dark worlds are really real) by the knight, and according to certain theory it had much of Mettaton's positive essence, resulting in it being very powerful and similar to mettaton. However Spamton itself is a mystery. Maybe alphys/mtt accidentally downloaded it or tinkered with it (Spamton is computer virus that acts as a spam bot and spams scam emails from host's computer). Also it could be that toby made neo form based on mettaton, named it Spamton and later made base form, however i don't think it's the case
