    So moving,
    so sublime,
    so moving.
    Positively indescribable.

This is almost like Baroque Heavy Metal, with those chugging Basso Continuo, and virtually the Violas are ripping 16ths throughout the whole piece. And the Soprano Solo in the Gloria Patri I is almost like Sebastian Bach of Skid Row. Truly, a Beautiful, but underperformed gem.

I fully agree. I've discovered the composer just today, but in several of his works
works, I already noticed he is reaching to the heavens in a very delictate way, which I've so far thought to be unique for Bach.

At times it feels like "Bach meets Mozart".

At 5:56 for about 15 seconds the music with its driving force seems to foreshadow Mozart.

Zelenka was similar to Bach in some ways, but was much more oriented toward the galant style than Bach ever was. Some of Zelenka's music sounds almost pre-Classical in a way that Bach's does not.

I think this sounds more similar to Handel

So while Zelenka respected the contrapuntal discipline and the "stile antico", as Bach did, he also was more amenable to the fashions of the time and could write in a galant or operatic style if he chose.
