  • This was the most incredible thing I have ever witnessed. I would recommend it to anyone. We camped out two nights prior to the eclipse when only about 10 people were there. The day of the eclipse became heavily crowded but it made for a fun time and reaction. I could have cut some of the blurriness but I wanted to leave the whole period of totality in the recording. What was supposed to be less than a two hour drive after turned out to be 4.5 hours but it was worth it! 21AUG2017

The most amazing part to me is the emergency services being prepared and actually serving the public. Kudos to that agency.

You have a great video. A once in a lifetime video. I am jealous, NJ got 71% coverage and it was to bright for my camera to work like I planned.

You'll have to head North for the next one, comes straight through Cleveland & Buffalo before heading across the Adirondacks & finally across northern Maine.

Don't worry man! There will be a total Lunar eclipse in january 2019. Again, only north America will be able to see it xD

I was about 700 feet up a hilltop in southwest Salem, Oregon, and had 2 minutes of totality. This was my first, and I have to say, pictures don't capture the experience in full. The sky was crystal clear, the Corona was the most beautiful light gray-blue, like a more intense blue of a welders torch, and the corona seems alive. It seems like a "black hole" is where the moon is and the corona is not symmetric all the way around. The next one in the United States will be near Dallas, TX, in 2024. I want to be there!

I'm guessing one needs to watch where he steps around that crowd in the morning😬
