    Also, great hair and great playing. Also, I've never heard the term "run and gun" and love it.

    Loved the tone on the intro lead - familiar but unique. Kind of reminded me of the lead tone on While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

      Thanks! That was the Filmosound profile with a slapback. It’s crazy how much slap can sort of “push” the part into the background so I had to turn it up a bit

    Awesome video! 2 Quick questions how do you run it to a PA if you’re not using an amp and relying on your floor monitor, so the sound engineer can bring me up or down in the mix on stage and front of house, second question, same scenario when I’m running my in ears.Thanks in advance.

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  2 роки тому

      Hey Matthew, hopefully quick and easy answers-- everything is just using a direct out signal via XLR. hopefully the sound engineer can understand that youre using a noiseless rig and he can compensate with your monitoring on your wedge. Same vibe with the in ears!

    Great video again! On my Kemper Stage favourite amp I use is Tone King Imperial by Tone Junkie. I can see that you have the real amp on your gear collection. Would love to get Tone KIng Imperial as well, but those are hard to get in hands here in Europe.

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks so much Sami, and thanks for all the comments here lately! The Tone King Imperial profile is one of my favorite profiles by Tone Junkie too, but its nowhere close to the sound of the real thing! And I'm not talking about the accuracy of the profile, because its definitely there... but there's something about the imperial, its a distinct 3D clean that you get on the rhythm channel. I remember first plugging in, and at first chord, I knew I was going to get it. Hopefully you can find one, as far as I know, Tone King is sold through a dealer network that includes amps like Friedman and maybe Deizel? If they can get you a Friedman, they should be able to get you a tone king! Btw... I like the mk 1 more than the mk 2!

    I grew up playing an amp and I never messed with a computer in my life, I bought the stage listening to Andertons video comparisons, I spend more time trying to figure it out than I do playing it lol, different processes for rigs presets and performances is a pain , I play my amps more

      It’s great! Used it yesterday on my gig. Like everything, it needs refinement from real world experience, so I tweak here and there and save. But the bones are all still there

      Also are you just using studio monitors to make this? I really struggle with what medium to use (headphones, PA speaker, monitors.. etc)

  • @michaelpreston7654

    do you use imprints live, or do you stick with the monitor cab button on? Thanks

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  2 роки тому

      Hey Michael, I've used the imprints a lot and enjoyed them, but I didn't find them adding any kind of noticeable difference to my live playing given that I was using the Kabinet as a monitor for myself. I'd use the monitor button for the Kemper Kabinet, but now that I use the Power Amp I keep the monitor block off

    Will you use inears or a cab behind?

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  3 роки тому +1

      I actually used the Kemper Kabinet on the gig, in addition to running it through the mains. To be fully honest, I didn't feel like the Kabinet could keep up as much as I would have liked it to, and especially at volumes we were playing at (our drummer hits hard.) I may look into an in-ear rig of some kind, as I'd like to be a little nicer to my ears lol.
