- The KHOU 11 Weather Team continues to track Tropical Storm Beryl's location as it continues toward the Texas coast. It's expected to strengthen to Cat. 1 ahead of landfall.

This is going to be a minor event. Now it had hit as a Cat 3 as predicted a few days ago it be a different story. This storm will put some roofers to work and probably FEMA. As an adjuster I won’t deal with either. Y’all stay safe.
Right, CAT 1’s are a breeze….they CAN knock out a few power lines, but this level of hurricane isn’t destructive…Stay inside and get some rest

@@nickytommymancinelli8066 Hurricane Ike was a borderline Cat 3, 1 mph short of Cat 3 status. Also had one of the largest recorded storm surges ever. That was a unique storm
