So happy to see this travel video. Most of the You Tubers have been posting stuff from their confined quarters about mods and DIY installs. Very happy to see an actual video about what we all love... RV Life!
Thanks David. We held some of the raw video from our travels back in March. Thought it was time to release it before we start traveling again in June. One more to release this week and hopefully things will open up soon so we'll have fun stuff to share.
Hi Mr. Jerry! I have been waiting to see the continued videos from before the isolation situation. I really enjoyed going on the trail with you. I have never seen a trail that was so user friendly and clearly marked and maintained. What cute things you shared as you were walking; the little gnome and his house, the bear in the tree, and of course the river! What Fun!! OOO and I enjoyed the signs that you pasted on the way to the vineyard! as you were reading each message , I couldn't help but wonder if there would be a Life size fairy house at the end of the trail. Always a pleasure to be invited along with you all on new discoveries! Thank you for not leaving out my favorite line that must be in all of your videos>>>Sum kinda pretty😊
Will check them out with a 20ft camper we also give each other space to ourselves great video can't wait to camp again Maine in September greeting from Gastonia NC ..Moab forever
I loved this. I know my great grandmother and great grandfather Walton lived at Grassy Creek but I had only driven through the area and never seen the beauty that you saw this day.
You have made my stay stuck at home much more bearable. I've been bingeing your channel. By the way we frequently stop in Hickory NC and go thru Elkin. We love that part of the state. If planning a trip should check out a little farther west on the Blue Ridge. From Blowing Rock south to Linville Falls. Beautiful.
Thanks Wendy. Happy to hear you’re enjoying the channel. Love western N.C. Work around the area from Franklin to the Tenn. line for many years. And Blowing Rock is some kinda pretty! Haven’t camped there yet, but it’s on the list.
It would be great if you started your videos telling where the place is located. NC is a big state. Without mapping it I am guessing it’s somewhere in western NC. Enjoyed the video!
I will and thanks for the comment. Elkin, NC in the north central part of the state. There’s a link in the description for Byrd’s Branch Campground where the trail starts. I’ll make sure and add a Google map in the future show notes.
This will have to be on my wish list
Thanks for video 👍🙌👍🙌
Glad to share Barbara. Fun area.
Winery at the end of a hike. Sounds perfect! Thank you! Really enjoyed my virtual hike with you! Love the gnome house too!
Thanks Debra. So glad we could bring you along.
Love it.... Thank you keep on traveling....
Thanks so much. Will do!

Looks so pretty...love that you can hike up and back from winery!
Nice bonus!
Good to see you and Joan are doing well. Nice video. I’m ready to get back to camping myself. Enjoy your ventures. I’m watching 👀. Be safe my friend.
Thanks John, We're planning to hit the road in June. We be different and expect some restrictions, but looking forward to getting out of the house!
As usual Jerry thanks for sharing!
Always Sam.
That trail is beautiful Jerry wish I was walking with you. That creek bed with water at grassy creek is neat too.
Thanks Ty. Fun time.

Thanks Dawn.
Nice walk
It was. Miss them.
I believe the blue flowers are vinca aka periwinkle
That's what I was guessing, but I'm not that knowledgeable about plants in that region.
Some kinda pretty!

Loved the video! You’re a good sport: when Joan tells you to go take a hike, you’re happy to do it 🤣
Absolutely!
I loved this. I know my great grandmother and great grandfather Walton lived at Grassy Creek but I had only driven through the area and never seen the beauty that you saw this day.
Thanks Diana. Such a pretty area and the folks in Elkin are so nice. Hope you get a chance go back one day.
Stay safe as well out there. We're gonna camp local here in N.Y. soon.
Thanks. Have a great time.
We live in the Finger lakes and the majority of private campgrounds are open as long as you have a self contained rv. The rest rooms closed
I shared this to my Facebook page and a bit of escapeism.😊 Love it!
Thanks a bunch.

My husband says those pretty blue flowers are Vinca.
Thanks. They were hinting Spring was days away.
@@iLoveRVlife And now here in PA, Mother Nature took Spring away again. It's snowing!
What! Unusually chilly today in Middle Georgia, but 80s on the way next week.
I know exactly what you mean.
