Damn bro, shits awesome! All this from gray debug textures to a years worth of experience from experimenting and learning
Wrist-mounted grappling hook? Or at least some sort of bola/net launcher that will either hinder or outright stop an enemy in their movement, maybe even stick them to one another.
With the idea of the Mandolorian, I now imagine a gameplay where being smart and tactical is how to be overpowered.
Like, you may be outgunned and outnumbered, but you have gadgets and strategy to defeat anything no matter the state. I imagine lots of cool slick out maneuvers, trap placements, and just being a thorn for the enemies, as you expend everything in your arsenal to get that victory.
Just this well-prepared and well-equipped mercenary, able to complete any mission through sheer cunning and tenacity. They're just one guy, they're tanky, but they're just really damn good at their job. Like, I imagine that as the most overpowered thing in the game. Not any of the weapons, the player's skill and tactics determines how overpowered they are.
The weapons and gadgets are just tools, they're not good or bad, not overpowered or underpowered, their effectiveness is highly dependent on the player. And a good player can take any equipment, and turn it into gold.
Thanks for the ideas! I agree, the effectiveness of the player's arsenal is going to be very dependent on the player's skills. 👍
Wow this shit is gonna be epic, can't wait to try it. :)
brings back memorys
Man, those wrist rockets look super cool, albeit potentially op. Do the wrist-weapons have their own set of ammo or some kind of thing to balance it out and prevent spamming?
Game's looking really cool, can't wait to see more!
Yeah there will either be a cool down, or a special ammo needed to resupply your wrist weapons. They are kind of an op weapon that the players have to strategically use. For example: maybe you are in a tight spot and need a way to clear a load of enemies quickly.
this game looks like arcadian rift, although that game is now cancel, but your game is promising.
Thanks for the support! I took a lot of inspiration from Arcadian Rift. 👍
man that game would have been so cool, his devlogs were such an insperation for me as well, too bad he turned out to be a degenerate :(
yeah, I was really looking forward to seeing the game completed@@pleasantlygrim6712
0:30 bro... "cockpit" is spelled together lol
Dang I didn’t even realize I did that. 😂
is this pve or pvp
It’s PVE, PVP might be something to consider later though. 👍
nah this is Arcadian Rift redo with paying someone to do a voiceover
Lol I thought the same, I really hope we're wrong
It’s not, I have no association with David RB
