Headlight wise, I completely blacked out the interior housing of my headlights. Never liked the silver or chrome surrounds. One issue I found when masking the reflective chrome around the low & high beams did not peel the chrome off but the blue painters tape peeled off the chrome on the side indicator recesses... So then I removed the amber piece, then sanded the chrome off ( just the side indictor recess ) then painted with reflective gold & replaed the clear bulb with amber bulbs..
@@cmidas3396 Yes I did... I'd always wanted to paint them black. to correlate with the full body ebony pearl of my 2005. Next will be ordering & instilling the piaa lp270 driving lights which will go in the upper corners to the lower center grille, currently working on honeycomb revision for hood, foglight & center grilles.
@marcstreiff6067 Yeah I've been wanting to do a honeycomb grille. It looks like it might be easier to do it in the early A6 grille but looks like you'd also have to change to the A6 hood opener latch too because it's postioned different. I also thought about running the later A6 hood with an RS6 grille.
@@cmidas3396 . No no need to change anything. I'm using the honeycomb grille from 2005 or so er Ford 150-explorer. It mimics the most closely the current depth of Audi grilles . I thought 99% of the mesh/honeycomb grille panels offered online re just unacceptable. Grnted its quite. bit of cutting & regaling but I'm lying on verge $20 for a grille @ the junkyard & you need 2 of them..
The G35 dragrace never happened because he sold it. I did race it against another TT recently but it wasn't an all out race because the other TT's brakes needed some work. Good video. Your pads look like they got plenty left to me. That looks like your caliper centering standoff that's 1/4" from the rotor.
Yeah they've been on the car for a while. They still have a little life left in them but they are getting low.
