Also given we venture into 3199 soon with the new series comming? Expect Kodai to FINALY meet Harlock, his cooler, more battleready persona.
After listening to this eurobeat for months now, decided to watch Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 and it did not disappoint. (It's good, it's really good like wow... never had this much fun watching a mecha anime since tengen toppa gurren lagann) Currently starting on 2202, then afterwards I'll watch the 2 parts of the 2205.

I usually reprobate Remakes but gotta admit Xebec forces me to make an exception to that rule. I normally find this military march from 1974 annoyingly repetitive but 2199, live action eiga and now this one are exceptions cause they are about Iscandar unlike Comet Empire & Bolar Wars when they insisted on playing this very song when even lazy American Gaijins dubbers knew better and came up with original songs. Hope since this is the last time we will see Iscandar that also happens to be last time they play this song even this very catchy rendition. Otherwise it would truly be a Scandal.
Since they ve come this farce and resurrected Deslar i wonder if they will remake Be Forever Yamato. If its to kill Sasha Jr. Again i strongly object to that. Let this one be the final chapter and move on to 2520 expand on those 3 previous OVAs and finish it. Next go to Mahoroba or Cosmo Warrior Zero. No more Yamato unless if its to bring Starsha Teresa and Yuki back after the events of Fukkatsu Hen movie. Be forever Waifus.

実際、１番と２番はイスカンダル往復編、３番と４番は地球復興後の歌詞になりますからね。
