Steve, do you have a specific length, where you say this skew is now more use as a shear scraper or alike? Thanks for the videos..

Not really but I change my skew to a scraper once it’s too short to turn a 32mm dowel on a 4” newel

your mastery of the skew is very impressive, dare I say, legendary. However, there is a point where it becomes just a case of 'showing off'. So many would benefit from you sharing your skills, and I don't mean for free...
