I had a brother and sister pair of orange tabbies, Fred and Ginger, and they were the absolute coolest, sweetest kitties! Fred was a big orange boi, we said he was a “liger” because he looked and walked like lion cub! Ginger was plump, girly girl with the sweetest face and we said she was a “tigelon”, she had more distinct stripes! They were a joy to have and I miss them terribly! Your Ginger is such a sweetheart, you’re so lucky!😻🧡🐈

@@msr1116 they were the inspiration behind the names in a way. When they first came home I immediately named Fred because he WAS a Fred, no doubt! It took a few hours of tossing names around and Ginger kept popping up in my mind every time we said Fred! It really was a perfect name for her because she was so dainty and light on her feet, she would’ve been an excellent dancer if she were human! Fred, not so much, he was more of a Fred Mertz than Astair! We loved those two so much!😹😻🧡🐈🐈
When you talk to cats they usually answer, especially if they've been talked to a lot. My cats always responded vocally. I treated them more like dogs in the way I would talk to them or ask them to do something. Thet had manners and knew what NO meant. I must do something right, I've had the most awesomest and smartest kitties EVER! I really enjoy the creatures.
Ginger loves Daddy. When you said "Want a hug," she had an expression pretending it's no bid deal as she was climbing on your chest. Her expression at the end of the clip was of love and content:). Cuteness overload. Happy New Year, Ginger and Daddy:).

I have always found orange kitties to be wonderful. There was even a neighborhood cat with FLAMING dark orange markings that would come up to people for fusses. For a few years, I also had an orange kitty with an actual sense of humor. Loved the heck out of him. He had this talent of being able to crawl into my lap while I was napping without waking me up. Came back from grocery shopping one day to find him dead under my desk. No symptoms, no warnings, no nothing. B&W tuxedo kitties, while I love 'em, tend to be fussier and more standoffish, IMO. Am I wrong?
