- Hi friend! thanks for joining me today! In this one we're checking this two guitars sort of like Head to Head. Important to notice is, of course, the HUGE difference in price. TLDR I feel PRS SE is a fantastic tool that helps you do everything you need and Gibson is a fantastic luxury!, that allows you to get that Gibson sound and sort of status.... lol

Versatility is a moot point; a tradeoff between having a trem vs individual pickup controls; I like to be be able to balance tone/vol in the middle position , which is why i like the LP layout... a good comparison might be LP Studio vs SE 594. Also worth mentioning the much thicker body of the LP, and pickup postion further apart which would unsurprisingly alter the sound character a lot... not "better" or "worse", but clearly different... (as a total aside the best coil splits on a Gibson I have herad were on a LP Studio m3 - a real shame they decided to discontinue that model, and really regret selling mine!)

Acabo de encargar una prs SE custom 24 08 Vintage Sunburst llega el viernes a San Isidro me la mandan a Merida Yucatán, creo que es una guitarra muy versátil y sin duda han mejorado mucho la serie SE por mucho... y eso es bueno, ya que anteriormente tuve una Santana SE por alguien que me pago con un cambio para probar y de plano no me gusto nada... asi que no la use y la termine vendiendo o cambiando no recuerdo bien... sería bueno que compares con una David Grissom que fue la que originalmente quería pero en estas fechas es imposible conseguirlas ya que están agotadas y es un problema entonces opté por comprar esta guitarra, muy buena comparativa saludos.
Que buena onda! Creo que la 24-08 no te va a decepcionar! Y si, me encantaría hacer la comparativa con la DGT, vamos a ver si en un futuro próximo puedo conseguir una DGT! Me parece a mi, que es un instrumento un poco más especializado, pero, vamos a ver! Ojalá consiga un presupuesto 🤣🤣🤣 todas las guitarras están carísimas ahora comparado con 3-4 años atrás. I don’t know, I can’t see myself paying over $1000 for these new Epis, I’ve had bad experiences with them, they sound good and feel pretty ok, but I feel like they’re NEVER record ready, and In the studio I find them really hard to rely on. IMHO under $1000. GET A PRS!!! Similar 🤣🤣 and if you want Gibson sound, buy some G PAFs and you’re solid! But that’s just me and my experience. Thanks for your Comment friend!
