Oh my God, finally! I have spent the last hour searching for a clean windy forest ambience video, without all those pesky noisy birds, owls, rainstorm sounds etc. Thank you so much!
It is the only reprieve to help me alleviate my anxiety at night, as I live in a tourist city and in the summer it's too noisy to relax.
Earbuds. U can even use use old pair of those headphones that go really far in. :)
How do you take an hour looking for this I at least took 30 seconds :^

@@FabBluewho A matter of preference. When you have misophonia and are desperately trying to find something to provide relief from all other sounds that are triggers, everything can be pesky, so don't judge without knowing!

I would go to a forest just like this one.
I would lay down on the crunchy floor and wait for nature to take back what I owe her.
And I would listen to the wind, the trees, and the animals.
Nature was kinder to me than God and the rest of them ever were.

This is the only recording I've been able to find that is close to what I'm looking for. Standing in the forest and hearing a breeze blow through the trees and inhaling the fresh mountain air is probably my favorite sound in the world.
Life is so artificial compared to what we used to enjoy, with camping in forests not overflowing with people
It's my favorite sound too, but birds are usually for daytime and might keep me awake. Yet, it helps relieve anxiety. It's lovely
Yup. This is it. Falling asleep to this EVERY night from now on. Reminds me of my teenage years--a lazy Saturday, the wind rustling the foliage surrounding my house as I lay in my bed, drowsy and ready for a good nap.

This is wonderful, it's so hard to find wind that sounds like the real thing without all of the bad sound effects wind usually has on microphones.

This is exactly what I need for studying! I get distracted/bored so easily without music and I like classical music so I just focus on that instead of what I am supposed to be doing. This is the perfect balance between stimulating and not distracting :)
same for me, I like listening to 2 songs 1 is lo-fi but it distracts me because of how much I enjoy it.

I used to live near the woods and my childhood playground was the woods, but recently i moved to the city. Thank you so much. Its not the same thing, there are no smells and so many little details that makes a huge difference, but in terms of sound, it sounds exactly like home. Even from the crows time to time and a dog barking in the distance. Once again, thank you. Huge hug here from Portugal.

Omg! I live in Colorado and I just can't leave cause I love my Mountains 😭💙. I was asked to move, but I said no because leaving all this beauty would be too heartbreaking. Just thinking of leaving made me cry. Hopefully you can be near what you love.
I believe this is the first sound I will hear before I open my eyes in the after life..
Believe what you want but there isn't an afterlife. You are like a computer or a car in some sense. When they work they do something unigue and special they cannot do when they are broken. Humans do not have conscious thought when we are broken or in other words dead. It like taking a car apart and imagining it is still being driven around in some "afterlife". It is a ridiculous idea born out of the very real fear of death.

Absolutely love this video, I’ve been putting this on loop at night to help me sleep. I’ve always found the wind blowing through the trees like this to be one of my favorite sounds, it lets me just be in the moment. No worries, no fears, just contentment.

Weird when I walk in a densely forested the first thing I notice is how much the tall trees dampen the wind noise and force.

This is just perfect. My family owns a cabin, a shack really as it has no windows, in the forest, and this is closest to what it actually sounds like when the wind is strongly blowing through the forest.

This looks like the woods where I grew up in Northern California.
15:38 Oh my god and distant train horns too? I know this doesn't apply to everyone, but anyone who lives near railroads like me, especially ones with crossings where trains have to honk for traffic, knows how nostalgic that sound is. There are 4 railroad crossings back to back near the town I live in(and have my whole life) so anytime a train comes through they have to honk a total of 16 times, every time.

Well this video is also very noisy.
My bedroom as a kid had a window facing towards our backyard, which was a couple acres of woods. On windy Summer days, I'd leave my window open and just listen to the wind blow through the trees. This is the closest I've someone has come to replicating the exact sound I would hear. Thank you for this video. I hope I can move back to the country some day.

Its hard to find the right amount of each noise but this is good... The wildlife isnt obnoxious but i would prefer no wildlife if i had the option lol ...the trees, leaves and wind are so soothing at times it almost sounds like thhe tide
