Ruth Wilson is amazing in everything she does. Been a fan of hers for a long long time, so glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves. QUEEN!
FloretParaplue Her acting is so great. I can't wait to see more of her. I happened to see her on Luther the first time but didn't recognize her on the affair at first ^^. I'm gonna watch Jane Eyre now and Eleanor. She has something special about her that few actors have. Great acting, great personality. Queen! Totally agree :D
Hollywood reporter you do a fine job with these round tables. They are insightful and allow the actors so much freedom with their responses. The Affair is one of the best written and acted shows on TV. Love you Ruth!
Ruth Wilson has got such an outstanding, unique face. I love her mouth - I think her upper lip is natural - and very special formed eyebrows. And generally she looks stunning, no matter what she's wearing or what kind of hair style she's got. She's a dream, and that's what she's ever be for me. Mostly such kind of women are very difficult in relationships, that's my experience in life. However: it's always exciting to see her.
Huge fan of this series and this actress. She's wonderfully insightful and witty. Her performance in Luther is one of the best TV performances in the past decade and she has a mischievous beauty that's captivating.
You can't really hate Alison in the show. Somehow her performance is just make everything looks more complex, and you can't really judge somehow base on how you perceive of them.
I HATE the character, Ruth Wilson played her BEAUTIFULLY but yeah I HATE women who always play the hurt "oh help me big strong man, don't leave me alone I NEED you to take care of everything, tell me what to do and when and ....." female and that's what I see in Allison.
That's what I love about The Affair. We're only ever catching glimpses of each character. Like with Whitney, we don't ever really see the full picture for her until season 5 because she's always viewed through one of the adult's perspectives rather having her own narrative. Ruth Wilson played Allison beautifully, she's such an underrated actress.
I watched Jane Eyre, more than once, very good movie. There was more than one adaptation of it over the years and this was my favorite of them all, and she was very good.
Just finished watching the entire series. It’s all about choices we make in this very complex world. A family who prays together stays together.Just don’t be selfish.Think about others too. Great performance by this young lady and the entire cast. She spoke perfect American accent.
Ruth is such a versatile actress. I loved her in The Affair, she showed so much depth to the character. I loved Alison, wanted her to have her happy ending with Joanie.
nubiacoco I love Jessica Lange and i think she's fabulous, but i once commented on the amount of fillers/surgery she had on a film forum and everyone tried to tell me that that is her natural face and she's had nothing done. Every single reply i had said that. I was like .... um.... nobodies face looks that naturally. Glad things are more realistic here.
She has always been one of the more ego driven actresses,If the camera and conversation isn't on her she could care less=she was never about the work as much as herself. Decent actress but not on par with some of those women in the room.
Why is it that women always define their identity in terms of the activities of men? You never hear a man say that, "Well, since women get more naked photos, I'm going to demand equal time." The more women try to escape being a wife or a mother, the more they seem to define themselves in terms of male activities, which seems sad and desperate to me.

FloretParaplue A new fan. I like!
FloretParaplue Ruth Wilson vs Emily Blunt, who better? :)
TheHaloRed Literally two of my favourite actresses. Can I have them in a movie or show together? :P
TheHaloRed Ruth. There's no competition there in my opinion.

She's very intelligent and has a good sense of humor. She's very pretty as well.
I could listen to Ruth speak all day. In fact I may take the day off tomorrow.
This show is so much deeper than I every imagined. I love it.
Finally new interviewers who let the actors speak.
Derrion Brown This interviewer has been working with them for a long time though.
Truly you can feel the pain the grief through Alison's eyes
Chung Chi So true!
What a well spoken lady
Ruth is incredible.

how polite and interested is Jessica Lange in the conversation.... jajaja

I feel the same too! I hate infidelity but somehow I can't really hate her.

Her complexion is really nice not just white, a little blush in it.
I loved her...she amazing actress..

why does Jessica Lange look so bored all of the time? It's like she's drunk
IpodMute I think it is the cosmetic surgery on her face making her look that way #noshade

Because female roles in Hollywood tend to be less substantial and more sex-based
