    Fitted the Stinger 2-into-1 to my Interceptor at the weekend - it's a game changer. Aesthetically, to me (and I know it's subjective), it's so much better than the two huge stock pipes. Furthermore there's a big weight saving, and it sounds delicious too. Great video. Thanks

    Good video BHP well done. Personally on the Interceptor I prefer the look of 2 pipes by far by like the sound of the 2 into 1 by far! Just possible it might have made more power with the high flow baffle in BTW. Counter intuitive but sometimes the case.

      2-2 with a lithium battery be similar weight to 2-1 with stock battery & sound better & look heaps better.No exposed welds,no springs & TEC 2-1 works good but looks cheap & is made cheap but not alot 2-1 options out there.A 45mm 2-2 system no joins until mufflers & 45mm S&S mufflers no swagged end no gaskets best sounding & looking & with only 1hp difference between them.A 2-1 system with only one join at merge pipe if like 2-1.
      I wonder how many 2-1 TEC have sold with their 4hp & 8Nm(53rwhp 71Nm) claims more than 2-2 big bore systems when other 2-1 systems built better less joins only make 1-2hp more max.A lot of people only buy TEC cause they believe hype & stats & think they getting 4hp 8Nm more.They cheaply made & reflects in price,springs outdated & fall off.
      Good to see a independent source comparing systems first time I've seen TEC compared to 2-2 but never believed their stats where better companies only 2hp max better.
      Was the 2-2 a TEC as well or other brand?

      @@ruahinesrider This is subjective. I ride in an area of the united states where I have roads with potholes that swallow babies and salt on the roads from Nov to May and my Tec 2into1 has held up great. I have close to 4k on mine with no issues at all. Don't know how a spring could be outdated (not a lot has change in the spring technology department in the last 350 years) I mean this dyno just showed a increase of 4ish hp over stock (at the wheel not the crank). Looks are subjective but the S&S comp 2into1 is ugly plain and simple. Im very happy I spent 400usd for a full exhaust I like the look of and is a good quality then putting on a 800+USD exhaust that has S&S stamped on it.

      @@Jmacfann Definitely agree about S&S 2-1 being ugly especially from front on with angle & have 2 high flow cats.The S&S Scrambler 2-1 look awesome but only made for companies & prototype & not for sale on market yet.Verex make a nice 2-1 kit.Tec work well & the old technology of springs let them down & better quality steel be great but I would still buy them as there not alot on the market for 2-1 unless you go custom.

    I would like to see BHP to do a job on the Enfield J series 350cc bikes.. Like the Meteor 350.. It has only 20.2 bhp on the crank.. A 20% increase in power to around 24.2 bhp on the crank would make it a bit more "safe" on the highway and if a free flow exhaust could shave of say 4kg of weight would be a welcome to its 191kg kerb weight..

    I have 25,000 miles on my 2020 INT650 with the TEC headers and TEC silencers. It took fuel mileage from 72 mpg to over 75 mpg with NO other modifications other than Bridgestone Battlax tires in sizes 110/90 front and 140/70 rear. It is as if the bike has been "uncorked" letting the genie out of the bottle, takes very little throttle to maintain the same speed as stock exhaust so efficiency is vastly improved; the pipes barely get hot. Virginia, USA.

    I had watched TEC's video and they allege a remap isn't necessary. Thoughts on that? I know the map helps generate the most power and work the most efficient, but do I have to do it to avoid engine damage?

      A map will optimise the modifications. As the bike runs very lean as standard a remap that Roche a the fuelling correctly will definitely help
      longevity.

    my tec 2-1 after 3000 km have a leak at the down part the splitted section. and this cause black leak i wrong in something? and the of one of the two pipes is not very titen and continue to barely move even if i tight the piece part every two week i ll go mad

      @@BHPUK just interested for a comparison really, i have a Kawasaki VN900 with 2-1 danmoto exhaust, kn filter , modded air box , O2 sensor delete and a booster plug. No ECU mods though

    Shame you can't just put these exhausts on a stock bike without a map

      It's a shame that the euro emissions are strangling the bikes so much that they need a remap in stock form. Adding hardware like derestricted exhausts and air filters only makes the problems worse.
