I wish my parents had given me any words or advice about this... I never had a clue if I was allowed to date. It took me years to realize that there was a difference between a crush and lust. I think that avoiding discussing this issue with your children may be just as harmful as being too permissive. As with all things, there is wisdom in moderation!

I agree with some points but it was isappointing to hear from Mr West such imprudent advice on teen dating. Poor thinking. It is a reflection of modern psyschology and lax Christian discipline
