I think the reason why 28 Days Later went out of print and also removed from streaming services is one of the producers of the film, Andrew MacDonald, brought back the rights of the film from Disney and Searchlight Pictures and then sold it to Sony along with the upcoming sequel, 28 Years Later. I heard that the restoration is still in the works, so maybe Sony can get it back in print and on streaming soon.
