If you can, purchase their book shown at the very end of the video. Chapter 14 is titled "Seed Harvesting", and they have extensive tables of when to harvest seed from all the prairie plants". I'm looking at them right now!
I'm just sitting here with tweezers and a few blueberries, deciding to look for seed collecting instructions. Guess I'll order a leafblower.

I have some little blue stem shedding seed beside my driveway. I found this helpful. Thank you.
We also use a Hege plot combine for wildflower harvesting. Greetings from the UK, love your work.
