Agave is better than simple for a margarita. Cointreau is better than triple sec, you never put ice in before all your liquid ingredients and you always double strain with a fine strainer after shaking as to not over dilute with ice crystals. Pretty pedestrian tutorial here.
Thanks for your feedback. We agree that agave and Cointreau are better, but they aren’t necessary substitutes, just preferred. We didn’t double strain this cocktail because we wanted more of the mango pulp in the drink. That’s our personal preference.
