  • We have had an overwhelming response to our last LiveScope video. A lot of folks asked us to walk through the system set up in the bow of the boat, along with the mounting of the transducer to the trolling motor.

Got mine installed Kevin, used it yesterday for this first time so I am getting used to it (didn't catch anything but the water is super high and fish are scattered). I have the 360 and they do do not interfere with one another. The trajectory on the Livescope is kind of small unless you are right on top of them, the 360 helps get you back on the pile if you drift off. I have my Livescope on a separate mount. If I had to pick one it would hands down be the Livescope. Keep those videos coming in please and good job on them.

love the videos man keep it up. that was me asking about the locks lol. I had never seen them until your videos. Noise rejection will clear the screen way up for some of you guys that get it. play with noise rejection and gain. Noise rejection got rid of the ray looking things that shoot through the water from the where your TM would be.

Not real sure you even read your comments sections Kevin but garmin has an app that allows you to record the screen. It may be useful to you in making quality panoptics videos. Either way, thanks for the content. As a creator myself I can tell you everybody wont be happy with the effort you put in on the videos. Do what you do man, Most of us appreciate the time and knowledge.

Did you have enough wire to run to the wheel for the black box? I'm hoping to put mine under there. I'm not sure what going to be in the box. It's on the way. Thanks

Your going to love it spiderrigging kevin. You can turn it and check each pole. You can actually see the condition of each minnow. Fishing will never be the same.

Your videos are great. It is about the info not how beautiful they are done. You do not have a film crew so if you get negative feed back just tell them jump in the lake. This technology far surpasses what has been out there. I run Garmin and have been nothing but happy. Good fishing and keep up the great work

Kevin, the app is ActiveCaptain to video, just remember to turn off cords! Thank you for the info. My livescope transducer will be here tomorrow. I bought a secondary independent mount because I have Xi5 and I use spot lock all the time

Saw your last live scope video and had to have one. Mine just came it the mail. Now I just have to figure out a good mounting option since I’m running a terrova. Probably gonna make a stand alone pole mount for the live scope transducer. That way while spot lock is on I can keep livescope pointed where I want it.

that is exactly what I want to do. I'll also be running the 360. I can see uses for both.

I mounted my on a product from fishingspecialties.com/
They make a product specifically for the LiveScope transducer.
Their product is well thought out and made with quality products.

Your videos are just fine Kevin, ignore the couch critics! I agree with you regarding the comparison to the 360, this Garmin is a whole new breed of cat ! It's amazing. It has also taken the hard-water world by storm. Good luck today go tear 'em up !

On your Garmin unit. It will just pop out in a second leaving just the cradle. Take it in. I fish reelfoot due to all the stumps I have a custom Jon boat with an xi5. So I put a bow mount hand control trolling motor on the opposite side and I can pan what’s in front independently. Just trying to figure out how to fish it.

Yes, Lock is just a deterrent (had it laying around). Yes I think we will see all kinds of different mounts for the LiveScope in the coming year.

Hummingbird is putting out videos trying to say that they have wider coverage out in front of the boat with out moving the trolling motor. 180 vs 20 degrees of the livescope

Great Vid! Very informative! First one I've seen that shows the whole set up. I was wondering where to mount the box. Just to be clear, do you need a power source to the Unit, Box and Transducer? or just the unit and box? Thanks! please keep them coming.

How much cable do they give you to hook the box to the unit.

your 94 looks like the( 93sv echomap plus) i just got and will be using with the livescope..( 93sv echomap plus) is a 9'' touchscreen with panotix and with the new livescope system it should be even better only thing i see ppl talking is that the (touchscreen ) is a little slower because of the processor ???? anyway good video ill be back and keeping a eye for more videos as i have yet to hook any of mine up on the boat yet anyway thanks for the videos on this as there is not much out there about it as of yet anyway.

Kevin, thanks for the update... great info.
Question: when spot-lock is used on your trolling motor while fishing with the LiveScope, does the trolling motor sometimes move too much side to side to get a good picture on the Garmin screen?

    • @bobbygarlandcrappietv7409
      @bobbygarlandcrappietv7409  5 років тому

      That is correct.

@@bobbygarlandcrappietv7409 Kevin, because of the constant movement of the trolling motor in "spot-lock" mode, do you think it would be better to mount the LiveScope transducer on a separate pole off the bow of the boat? Thanks!!

In talking with garmin that black box you mounted next to your foot pedal is not 100% water proof they told me to mount somewhere that water will not hit it. It can sustain some water but not for long periods, Just an FYI.

@@bobbygarlandcrappietv7409 Support says it mostly waterproof. I think you're okay with the location. You should put a ground wire in that lug on the black box though. Just run it to the negative terminal of your battery. \

So I just bought the livescope panoptixs you've had some time with yours so had two questions for you. I had to mount mine on the barrel of my trolling motor do you think that will negativity effect it? Secondly does it work better with spot lock or can you dial it in when trolling structure?.I just put it on today and I'm chomping at the bit to fish with it.Thanks for Sharing your insight !
