I don't usually buy First Runs of new knives from new companies. I am SO glad I waited for the Lander 2. And I am not a fan of BMs Axis Lock. This adjustable Crossbar Lock and improved steel really appeals to me. I've owned enough liner locks so the Big Banter was out for me. An XL Lander 2? Sign me up. My wife loves the exchangeable handle scales and the larger size for her new work knife. She worked her way up to a Spyderco Dragonfly. She now wants something she can bear down on for harder heavier cuts. The tip on the Delica is too thin she says. Great interview. I love how punch drunk you are. 👍

That energy is infectious. Ben PLUS then 2 of you !! The knives and the other gear is almost a convenient bonus. Which I also love, BTW. Can't wait for the Cedar to come out. I'm usually a cheapskate and stick to lower-priced options, but the Lander L makes me want to break out of my comfort zone.
You won't have to worry about cactus pricks with those clogs but you may get a splinter in which case you are well prepared with the cedar knife tweezers.
🥹ok, I gotta have that Cedar knife. It’s starting to drive my crazy🤪. Ben has sparked my interest in his idea of knife technology and renewed my interest in knives. Started following him way back at Blade HQ. It’s awesome to see him doing well! Now Frankie will want some shoes😁👍

Good call! Moving the OEM from civivi to Kizer. Kizer has such better fit and finish. Their knives are always dialed in right out of the box, unlinke civivi.

Ben is So Awesome I remember Yrs ago ppl asking who this guy who doesnt know anything about knives on Bhq channel lol One of the best hold my beer drops ever haha Hes soo good for us knife ppl.
Been waiting and waiting for Ben to come out with a knife w/o thumb studs as anything sticking out perpendicular to the blade drives my OCD nuts! He finally does and it has a blade that just doesn't do it for me. 😂 Oh well, the wait continues. Luckily his knife tool and burritos are awesome so I can still show dude some support. Love seeing Ben succeeding!

Always thought Ben's knives were a bit plain and boring. That was until a friend of mine purchased a 3D printer and we had a go at doing scales for the Lander. Next level fun (for an old knife collector anyway). The first few were rubbish and we got better. There is absolutely something about being able to quickly change the scales to match what you're doing that day - in the office, hiking or whatever or just because you can. Custom scales aren't new but being able to have ago yourself is just great. Sharp blades all.

Ben seems like a great dude but I think these knives need to be at a lower price. Or make the lander 2 in 14C and charge $60 for it. That would be reasonable
Ok try this…why can’t Frankie and a quality knife maker get together using her art especially geared towards women? Birds etc. ABC knife company with designs especially for women by Frankie??
