- Join us as we go to My VERY FIRST RunDisney Race at the Walt Disney World Resort! We ran in the Springtime Surprise 10K Adventure Is Out There Race! This was Dale's 2nd race and 2nd 10K but he was excited to run with me for my first race! We bring you along for the whole process of the race! We show you what goes on before the race starts and also during the race to! We ran on the roads around Epcot, through Epcot, through the Epcot Resorts, back into Epcot and we finished the race in the Epcot parking lot! We show you several of the characters along the way and we even got to meet 2 of my very favorite characters! Hope you enjoy coming along on my very first RunDisney experience! congrats!! the video made me cry a little. i have done 3 disney marathons, a few half marathons and 5ks and watching videos of disney races always bring back those memories.

I've run 4 runDisney events in person and will be running the wine and dine 5K and the 10K at marathon weekend this and next year. Who are the balloon ladies you kept talking about? Congrats to you both!!! I've never ran a marathon (or any race) before, but this definitely looks like the most fun one I've ever seen!!! I think the only way I'd ever participate in anything like this would be to drive a bus to shuttle the runners! 😂😂 (which I would totally do!)
The balloon ladies mark the end of the race. They start last and walk a 16-minute mile pace. If they catch up to you, you're out of the race.
I love running and would love to run a RunDisney event but as I live in the UK RunDisney don’t post medals for the virtual RunDisney series to the UK so unlikey I’ll get to do one. You are so lucky! Congratulations🎉
I have done many Disney races from marathons to 5k and each one is so fun, you both did fantastic and rocked your first race. The early alarm is the hardest, congratulations to the both of you
