Funnily enough, I never had any problems with respitory infections/colds since I left working in an enclosed, insulated airtight air conditioned open plan office. Weird that eh???
Yes! I work in a hospital and every day I become congested and have a little cough. 10 minutes aftee I leave work I can breathe clearly and cough is gone. Really time to retire😄
The opposite for me. But my previous work there was a lot more people around me than now. Haven’t had a cold in 1 1/2 year. So wouldn’t surprise I get a tough one next time.

A couple of weeks ago my brother in law had cold like symptoms, everyday he used the Lateral flow tests which were always negative, a week later my sister started to feel unwell so tested herself with the LFT which showed she was positive so she rang her husband who was on his way to work. He came straight home and did yet another LFT which then showed a positive result so they both went for a PCR test straight away. In the early hours they had texts with their results, he was negative she was positive 🤷🏼♀️ she was told to self isolate by track and trace he was told he could go to work which doesn’t make any sense to me. I’d not been in contact with either but my mum had spoken to my sister at the door a couple of days before. We were all negative on the LFT but I was worried as I had a dentist appointment that day so rang for advice, I was told if I’d been double vaccinated which I am then I could go to the dentist because people that are double vaccinated can’t catch the virus!! I was shocked that this was the advice from track and trace seeing as we all know that is not the case! Unbelievable how inaccurate the advice given is and it’s very scary.

They're programmed to push the obsolete and increasingly useless vaccines at all costs. Don't expect fact or truth from them. If it really did have the efficacy the establishment are claiming, we wouldn't have the outbreak we do have in the summer. I'm one of a group of 4 infected from a football trip last weekend. Everyone but me who caught it are 2 pricks and counting.
I retired at the age of 50, in 2001, and since then, I haven't had a cold or the flu all this time. I'm above the 50th parallel, in western Canada. We have days in January where you drive to work in the dark and come home in the dark. Not much vitamin D during about 4 months. So while I have been taking vitamin D3/K2 for 5 years now, as I wasn't working, I had much exposure to the Sun, I did cross country skiing, and skating at an outdoor rink. Perhaps I can offer this observation. Sufficient vitamin D3 will cause better absorption of calcium. Few are defficient in calcium. The problem is, you need K2 to make sure that the caclium is deposited on your bones and not your arteries. You can get supplements with both.
I have been taking vitamin D3 for about 15 years during the winter time in the UK and haven’t had as much as a cold or a cough in all that time, prior to that I used to get cold regularly…..
Just been reading that vitamin d3 is in fact a hormone and taking it in tablet form doesn’t make sense. You would never go into a shop and ask for tablets that contains insulin. It is only possible to get it properly through exposure to sun. Just a thought

I went to my GP once during an Australian winter and declared "I think I've got the flu.". He responded, "No, you've got a cold". Next winter I went back and said "I think I've got a cold" and he responded "No, you've got the flu". Doctors have no idea, despite that they think that they are always right.
Your Dr was probably right. There’s a big difference between a cold and influenza. With influenza you’d have a fever, body aches, cough etc and it’s much, much worse than a cold
This is exactly what I have observed in my 85 year old father who tested positive for Covid last Saturday. He only had cold symptoms with no fever. He was doubly vaccinated and is doing very well! Thank goodness for vaccines!
A couple of habits I've picked up since the beginning of the virus. I keep hand sanitizer in the car and I wash my hands thoroughly upon re-entering my home. Every single time.
I agree with Ms. Norris. I started washing my hands when I get home and using the sanitizing wipes at the food store every time. I haven't had a cold in the last few years which is unbelievable. When I was taking public trans I had 2 colds a year.
Had my booster today. I was asked if I currently had a fever or persistent cough. I asked why I wasn't being asked if I had any cold type symptoms (puzzled looks all around) I then asked why it wasn't protocol (especially when administering the AstraZeneca jab) to aspirate. You can probably guess the answer I got. Yes....." what does aspirate mean?"!
(was the "Administrator" a nurse or just the janitor ?? - every nurse knows well what aspirate - in context - means, unless they were confused because you had mentioned respiratory effects, "(usually )involuntary inhalation of a foreign body or fluid... jk. have a great day.. )
In my NHS Trust area only AD syringes have been used since the start of the vaccine programme so aspiration has never been an issue. It also makes it easier at the end of the session to weigh the bag of used syringes to match against the number of doses given.
Someone correct me if I am wrong but I always thought you aspirated to make sure you don't inject into a blood vessel accidentally. Why would that be any different if it is an IM injection? You could still hit a vein or something. Especially if the nurse has been injecting hundreds of people and has become complacent. I suspect that some of the bad reactions (not all) to the shot's are the mRNA getting into the blood stream and causing spike protein and inflammation in parts of the body you don't want like the brain or the heart, liver or kidney.
ADE is getting more sick from the same virus that one had before. If ADE were happening vaxxed people would be getting more sick from covid and that isn't happening.
@@SusanM-ez7ky That's one instance of it. There is also vaccine induced ADE. I believe a number of the recipients for the original SARS vaccines had severe influenza reactions that at the time was sited as ADE. It's very hard to find information on it because every single result on Google these days is a covid-19 article. You can dig though and find lots of literature on vaccine induced ADE. Obviously it's far more riskier when you're taking a vaccine that hasn't undergone thorough trials to determine whether ADE is a side effect or not.
"Early formalin-inactivated virus vaccines such as aluminum adjuvants (RSV and measles) have been shown to induce ADE." "Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), and other coronavirus has been difficult to create due to vaccine induced enhanced disease responses in animal models." "In conclusion, ADE may occur in people receiving vaccines based on the original Wuhan strain spike sequence (either mRNA or viral vectors) and then exposed to a Delta variant."

Maybe… but I still think it’s the body’s way of eliminating toxins ,, we need to understand that a virus isn’t necessarily a bad thing, nature works wonders, and like it or not in every other aspect of the natural world the plants, insects, animals that are weak and will not reproduce a strong replica are destroyed without this destruction all beings will become extinct….. if we look at nature around us we find examples of species being wiped out by diseases, an example of nature doing its job is the pine beetle, it has completely destroyed forests here and this is because these trees are no longer able to live in this climate, they no longer have the protection of nature they once had because humans have interfered with forest fires, logging practices, and upset the balance that allowed for the life of the trees. There are many examples of the human interference that result in problems, and all the fixes by science only compound the situation and create new problems…. We need to relearn to live within the confines of nature and stop thinking we can outsmart her….. we know that 99.9% of people survive but the other people have health issues and or have reached an age where they no longer have the immune systems that keep them allow them to survive…. Where are you that you have the luxury of common sense (windows open). Here in Canada, barely any places have windows that can open, and bizarrely, everybody is picking the beginning of flu/covid season to "go back to the office" (even though they tried this last September and it caused a massive wave as a result). 1.5 years on, they still believe masking indoors, putting on hand sanitizer, and installing plexiglass barriers in tiny offices with no windows can prevent infection. They still don't know this virus travels through indoor air, especially Delta. I believe it is because of unethical and poor mass communication to the public that over-states the vaccine's efficacy in terms of preventing infection. Most people in Canada have no idea about long covid, and they think once "vaccinated" you cannot catch covid any more. The governments (federal and provincial) and health authorities have been atrocious and continue to be atrocious, and in my opinion, immoral.

I didn't think your lung would feel like that from a vaccine. Is it possible that you had an infection of some sort at the same time and your body was just having trouble to fight off both the vaccine and the infection?
I also got taken out of action of by the COVID vaccine (AstraZenneca). But I already COVID-19 a month before, so apparently that explains why my reaction to the vaccine was so violent. But my lungs never had problems, which I think is expected since I wasn't infected with anything; my body was just fighting off the stupid vaccine in my system.

John I caught Norovirus some years ago while on a cruise ship (probably endemic?). I was very ill for 1 week while cruising then slowly recovering over 3 months. However, I then had chronic constipation for 3 years until I consulted Professor Tom Borody who developed faecal transplants. While he did not perform a transplant on me he did put me on an oral course of Vancomycin plus gout medication (to soften the stools). It took another 18 months on those meds to reach a form of normalcy. My point is that some of these viruses can have long term effects that aren't appreciated by general practitioners.
Hey no way would I have someones poop shoved into me... I would happily be a donor though.... If you want to stay regular, here is my tip... Mix 3 eggs and 30-40 g wheat bran, S and P then fry like a pancake in butter or olive oil. It is delicious easy way to add lots of fibre to your diet. Yummy.
Interesting thanks for sharing, did you try Kimchi? Also infections can cause simultaneously autoimmune reactions, you may have developed new food allergies.(had this myself everything I was eating at the time I'm now allergic to) that can cause constipation... also check your gallbladder health and bile flow...

That might change in the near future. As you probably know, you can get them, but they have to be administered by a nurse or medico. I have a friend who works in the industry and was talking with her about it. She said the reason they're restricted at the moment is they still want to ensure notification if someone is positive. She mentioned the issue recently with several people in NSW getting Covid, not telling anyone about it and dying at home. She said once we get to UK-like vaccination levels (about Nov), the case numbers and tracking every case aren't as important, and ATAGI will probably open up lateral flow tests to people for things like enabling unvaccinated people to access workplaces and events. I hope so, it would be good for personal checking if you have any symptoms.

Some say the jab interferes with your innate immune system that would normally deal with a cold. I hope that’s wrong because all my kids are jabbed. But if it’s right then you can expect many more “worst colds ever” .
@David Fallaha ; David, there is no such thing as “immunity debt”. (Except for kids who are now a year behind where they should be … but adults acquired all the immunity they ever will, years ago). Immunosuppression is a short term thing you get about a week after the jab … which makes many jabbed ppl get very ill about a week after the jab because the immune system is fully engaged fighting the S-proteins generated by the jab. So if you have a latent (suppressed) illness when you get the jab then it flares up about a week after the jab. This is why, the more your jab ppl, the more they die, as in Israel. The “worst cold I’ve ever had problem” is a bit different … that happens because your innate immune system (which would normally deal with a cold) is compromised because the S-protein antibodies from the jab see the cold antigen before your innate immune system gets to it … this was predicted … see 11.00 minutes in …ua-cam.com/video/2dX_Cr7lh-g/v-deo.html

We don’t have a national health care system in the US, therefore we don’t have a national number to call for health advice. Do what you can to keep the NHS!
@@katieholbrook6016 That simply isn't true. The trouble with the NHS is it's rather an international health service, and it has far too many admin staff. Does every health/hospital trust really need an ASSISTANT Equality and Diversity officer at £60,000+ per annum? (as seen in recent advertisement). Goodness knows what the E&D lead receives. The country hasn't got a forest of money trees, what we have is a vast army of people being very well paid to siphon yet even more money from the "health" service, diverting resources from the front line staff.
Yes the main benefit of public health is free lab testing. The trouble is with diagnostic expertise and the trend to minimise health conditions such as chronic disease in order to save money. Things like MRI scans are very expensive and public healthcare is very reluctant to do them. This is why unfortunately you need medical insurance in some countries to balance the motivation of public systems to reduce cost and wait until the situation is ambulance at bottom of cliff.
@@jwest4773 This is a global issue with public health systems becoming more complex. Less trickle down to patients as everything gets caught up in admin and cost reductions.

Sanitizers aren’t healthy for our immune system
Had my booster today. I was asked if I currently had a fever or persistent cough. I asked why I wasn't being asked if I had any cold type symptoms (puzzled looks all around)
I then asked why it wasn't protocol (especially when administering the AstraZeneca jab) to aspirate.
You can probably guess the answer I got.
Yes....." what does aspirate mean?"!
They say aspiration is not applied when it's an intramuscular injection. But yes, it's messed up that they do not know what that means...
Then why did you get the shot if they couldn’t answer the questions?
We appreciate you so very much.

"Early formalin-inactivated virus vaccines such as aluminum adjuvants (RSV and measles) have been shown to induce ADE."
"Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), and other coronavirus has been difficult to create due to vaccine induced enhanced disease responses in animal models."
"In conclusion, ADE may occur in people receiving vaccines based on the original Wuhan strain spike sequence (either mRNA or viral vectors) and then exposed to a Delta variant."

Lots of laughing going on, and a bit of coughing...kind of an uncomfortable situation.

Certainly got plenty of rubber bullets for the cops, though?

Covid was like a head cold
Didn’t even believe I had covid until I lost smell 4 days later. Strange not smelling and tasting - maybe I will lose weight
Same for me….lost smell completely on day 3 after test…
I lost taste and smell on Thursday and have a slight fever, tested positive yesterday. So far it's been like a weird ass head cold for me
Lose taste and smell, lose weight... *wait, there's one GOOD thing about getting Covid ??*
Maybe I should find someone with it and ask them to cough on me. I could stand to lose a few pounds....
I lose my smell and taste every time I get a cold
Had covid in July, my sense of smell is just starting to come back very faintly now, after 2 months !
Greetings from Zambia 🇿🇲
Wat is the story over there?
I grow my own food and raise my livestock... I inevitably eat some dirt and poop, bugs and whatnots.
I also get bit by spiders and stuff like that.
Oh go on... finish the story....
Got a neighbor who lives just down the road. To call him a dirty hillbilly would be much too kind. He's dirty and stinky and his house should probably be condemned but the authorities are likely afraid to enter for fear of the filth and vermin. Exaggerating, not. My point is, he's 78 still working outdoors winter and summer and other than a hernia he's never been seriously sick according to his own testimony. We'll all eat a pound of dirt before we get sucked up by that great vacuum cleaner. My wife figures he'll live to be 100! Go figure;)
"There's plenty to choose from." Somehow I feel I am chosen instead...
And Yes, of course you self-isolate, as soon as you've got symptoms. Better safe, than sorry! My husband got a cold and self-isolated immediately. Only after two negative tests on two consecutive days, did he come out of self-isolation. By then I already was symptomatic too. But just a common cold; we were lucky (and completely vaccinated too).
@Davis Boudreau Since I'm chronically ill with Lyme Disease, I'm actually in continual self-isolation. I hardly ever get anywhere.
The colds of yesteryear weren't killing people as the new Coronavirus does. Only two weeks ago someone I know didn't make it. She complained like Covid-19 felt like an elephant sat on her chest. Not a nice way to die.
@Davis Boudreau ; What is this ‘crisis’ you speak of ???
thank you dr for so much common sense!!
I take 10,000 IUs i.e. 250 micrograms a day for the past 18 months. My blood test shows 112 nmol per ml. Which is great for me. I once had a vitamin d level of 19.
Please can you tell me which brand you use. I’m at 19 have been low for years even while supplementing 4000 iu, not daily but 3 to 4 times a week. I have a problem getting my levels up and doctors haven’t been able to help.
@AA. Message was for you about vit d useage. Thanks.
Cups Thanks. Yes K2 is added. I’ve watched many videos but haven’t found one that helps. I’ll try again.
Is there a chance these “bad colds” are the Delta virus, and the PCRs aren’t catching this particular variant, giving negative results? Vaccines are also not as strong as we initially thought against different variants. Just wondering…
I believe they ran the tests. They were bad colds. Not flu. Not covid.
It was a different variant that was often untraceable with testing. Delta was easy to find with testing. Although some quick home tests are 20% unreliable.
Next year will be echo virus
You took the words out my mouth.
there’s a verified blue tick doctor on Twitter who had 2 positive LFD went for PCR send was negative then had 2 more positive LFD so he was warning people to be careful. The Threshold has been turned down on PCR so they’re missing positive tests
PCR does pick up delta.
Thank you Dr!!!
What makes you think he's a doctor?
"doctor".. Bahahahaha 🤦🏻♂️🤔🙋♂️

Thank you for this info.
I used the coffee method. I used this back in March 2020 as I couldn't smell or taste anything and with having a bean to cup machine with very strong smelling beans, knowing that I couldn't even smell that is why I believe I had COVID-19 back then which I think lasted just under a month. Other than that, there was nothing wrong with me and never has been since. Had my usual yearly cough and got tested just out of courtesy for my mates when I was going to the pub after the almost year long lockdown in the North West, which was negative as suspected.
I couldn't smell bleach or smoke from a candle. Or cologne.
I dont advise trying to breathe any of that deeply lol
I do feel for you. Being locked down in the north west. That must have been awful.
Knowing you had these symptoms, can you not request a free antibody test to find out if you had it?
Thank you! Stay well.
I had a friend who got covid and she couldnt smell or taste anything for months after she was over it. Also, I used to get the flu every winter until four years ago when I started taking Vit D regularly. Havent been sick since.
My husband was sick this past week. Hard to tell what is "man cold" or really sick but he was down and out for a week. Took 4 Covid tests which were all Neg.
Wake up! The PCR tests are bogus! Designed to give either 100% negative or 100% positive results. The swabs are also contaminated with graphene oxide just like the jabs. The more 'tests' you have the more poisoned you have become!

Further to lack of exposure to the common cold, might the lack of outside activity add to the problem? Regular exposure to cold temperatures with proper clothing triggers T-cell activity and enhanced immunity.
Is that so? Outdoor exercise is so healthy. It’s funny, my elderly parents still believe that colds are caused by even brief exposure to cold air. I keep telling them it’s not so, they’re only caused by viruses, but they just get that stubborn look. I can’t wait to resume my cold-season daily walks, it’s too hot in the summer now where I live, hot summer lasts from early May to early November.

@@kimberlyperrotis8962 I think there is more to it. Sleep with the window opened too wide and you will wake up with light symptoms similar to the common cold.
Maybe it's not the common cold. Just the same symptoms. Maybe just a body response to the cold. But it's easy to reproduce.
@Thermopylae I've continued outdoor swimming throughout the pandemic, including all winter, no wetsuit .. still got the worst cold ever!
I am 61, not been vaccinated, caught Covid.
First symptom not feeling quite right, following day second symptom slight headache for a few hours and I never get headaches, third symptom lost taste for a day, fourth symptom fever for 6 days with loss of appetite, final symptom lack of oxygen showing 88-90 on the blood oxygen level, no chest pain, no sniffles, no cough.
Four weeks to get my oxygen level back up to 98-99, I did start exercising using weights and press ups and some long walks which probably sped up my recovery.
Thank you doc. Will remember your tips and advice
My 5 year old had a cold and gave it to us parents, it wasn't pleasant. He had covid 2 weeks later and he barely noticed it. We had a very bad respiratory illness in March 2020 that almost sent us grownups to the hospital. A full respiratory panel including flu was negative but months later a covid antibody test was also negative so it was just some unknown nasty I guess. This pandemic has caused us to lose a bit of perspective on how some viruses are just really really awful.
👏👏 truth love it , people have very short memories virus have always been nasty this isn't new news.
Maybe people just don't remember what being sick was like, I had a shitty sinus infection this week but I got over it pretty quickly.

Uk residents, buy camping gas cookers with lots of gas bottles and a good number of conserved food now. This will be the announced dark winter for you! If you have the means, move to the countryside ...
Why?
@@anneheath382 because the powers that be want everything to hit a brick wall and it is full steam ahead. Today you will be 90% out of luck to buy fuel, have you bought food, shelfs were already partly empty before.

Thank you Dr Campbell, for great content and a nice length of video today.
Why does only one of my household members tasted positive, the rest of of us are not. Some of us tested twice still negative, but we all had cold and flu symptoms. The daughter who is negative having a bad cough now , but the one tested positive only had a couple of days of running nose 🤨 we were sure the rest of us will get it, or already got it, as we have symptoms, but the tests just keeps coming back negative. Very strange
My daughter had 4 pcr tests when she was in contact.. the 4th one was positive but was day 12 after she had been in contact… she had isolated the whole time as was in December . By rights she could have come out of isolation on 24th dec .. but as was Christmas she didn’t as locked down… she had symptoms and tested poison 26 th. her partner became pos on 30th
Maybe because the tests are junk? Just saying....
Thank you John! I currently have “the worst cold ever” as we speak.
Some say the jab interferes with your innate immune system that would normally deal with a cold.
I hope that’s wrong because all my kids are jabbed.
But if it’s right then you can expect many more “worst colds ever” .
me too! felt really rotten last night, shivery, neck-ache, generally horrible, now I feel normal. Just snot and blocked nose now.
@David Fallaha I have never watched any of his other videos was just commenting on the one video that I commented on. What he shared helped to make sense of an experience I am currently having, my saying thank you was related to the video I commented on - not endorsing or thanking him for anything else he may or may not have said in every video. Taking my comment on this one video as support for anything else he said is a little far reaching.
@David Fallaha I agree with you 100%.. If this guy supports lockdowns or vaccine mandates then I am completely against that.
I had a very mild illness last week which looks like it was Covid due to contact. Was Asymptomatic during the day, some headaches, mild fever and mild night sweats at night. Nothing compared to my Covid case back in November 2019 where I completely lost my taste and was very close to hospitalization.
So far my immunity to other viruses still remaining very strong.
We don’t have a national health care system in the US, therefore we don’t have a national number to call for health advice. Do what you can to keep the NHS!
Also, no free home tests the US (“richest” country in the history of the world).
its already being sold off and has been fpr ten years the goverment dont want a fit for purpose health symstem
The number of things I have to pay for out of my own pocket is increasing. Would be better of in a country that charges less for medical care in the first place.
