- in this video number {754} How To Test Ceramic Resonator Frequency. i explained and demonstrated how to test ceramic resonator frequency using oscilloscope. this ceramic resonator is installed in QPWBFB625JBZZ for sharp 1.5 ton air conditioner indoor unit board.
what is ceramic resonator. it is an electronic component consisting of a piece of a piezoelectric ceramic material with two or more metal electrodes. it is similar to crystal oscillator. When it is connected in electronic oscillator circuit, resonant mechanical vibrations in the device generate an oscillating signal of a specific frequency. similar to quartz crystal oscillator, it is used as an oscillator for purposes such as generating the clock signal used to control timing in micro-computers, microprocessors and many other digital logic devices. it is also used in to generate carrier signal in analog radio transmitters and receivers. typical ceramic resonator package has either two or three connections. The two pin devices are typically just the resonators themselves, while three and sometimes four pin devices are filters, often used in AM and FM broadcast radios as well as many other RF applications. They come in both SMT / SMD and through-hole packages with various footprints.

@@mtrltoolman so you saying the lamp can be the issue, but it's lighting up. There's actually a power supply just for the lamp, I tested a diode for continuing and I good no reading but when I did a resistance test I gave me a reading and not a short so I'm puzzled as to the issue
