Disclaimer:
Bike is double/triple checked after video is finished and before final sale.
I got my hands on a 2019 Hightower C R build in October 2018 and I been very happy with it. Plan to upgrade suspension on it soon 😊
What do you plan on upgrading to?
Thanks for the video... I bought this same bike, new in 2019, a size Large C S build and same gray/orange color scheme. Weighed it at a somewhat chunky about 30lbs 7oz (with 340g pedals). Did you pump helium into the frame and tires, or maybe I need to calibrate my scale?
Great bikes always
You’re like the Linus tech tips of bikes.
Not the first time I’ve heard that actually
What sizes of fork did you put it i have 140 now but im wondering if i can put 150travel
cool video and thanks for sharing. FYI super tall guys hate that manufactures pre cut the fork steerers would really be jacked is the store did it even shorter (like what happened with my 2010 XL Heckler) Curious are customers allowed to buy the bike but pick it up boxed and assemble themselves?
which kind grease did you use on the seatpost?
Just a quick question from me. I've been starting to do all of the work on my two bikes at my own lately to save some money. Why wouldn't i want to clamp the toptube in the stand? Shouldn't the tube stand that tiny amount of force with ease? I'm on two alloy frames and don't want to clamp my dropper just for the simple reason of me, maybe wanting to work on that too... So, whats wrong with clamping the toptube?
I say clamp it where it fits haha. Usually people get upset about clamping the top tube if the frame is carbon. However, as long as you’re not over clamping/twisting on the bike in the stand I think it’s fine.
robseymourbikes> bro, I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall. What do you suggest for SC HTLT frame? Where can I purchase SC? Thanks
Probably a medium, may be able to find a size chart out there. As for buying one I would check your local shop or check the Santa Cruz website to see where the nearest dealer is.
Im still getting around thr bike in such a small box
Nice Vid! What size was this?
Believe it’s a large
Hi, Nice bike! How tall are you?
Not my bike! I’m about 6’
Okey, sorry!:) ...Iam planning to get one. 6’1 and between L / XL.
XL would be better. Santa Cruz tend to fit a bit small.
You didn't cut the steerer tube?
No, it’s not my bike. The customer can decide that later. Often we’ll leave them long enough to have adjustment before cutting.
Weigh with grips and pedals :)
