Economic Thought of : Ibn Al-Qayyim ... Ibn Al-Qayyim (student of Ibn Taymiyyah) was the foremost disciple belonging to the Hanbali school, of Orthodox Sunni jurisprudence. Who was imprisoned in (1326) for dissenting against established tradition. (During, Ibn Taymiyyah's famous incarceration in the Citadel of Damascus). To him, (emphasises economic cooperation and social responsibilities) in spite of being divided, into numerous different units mankind is like a single body. They should cooperate with each other. One of the Most Important Muslim Thinkers ! Economic Thought of : Ibn Rushd: A philosopher, Ibn Rushd spoke and wrote about abstract Islamic concepts: Such as : Life, death, being, and knowing.
