Great review.. so much more detail that is real valuable in a purchasing decision. Would you rather get the decked out Trek Powerfly LT 9.9 or spend that money on a specialized Turbo Levo?
Excellent video, very informative and balanced. Shame about Australia's 25 km/h limit law, but then again if I'm mostly using it to get up hills, it's no big deal I suppose...
Great review. A little advise. I ride in relatively easy terrain, not too heavy climbing not too heavy douwnhille. It will be my first e mountain bike, I am 65 in very good physical condition. I Iam checkink the trek powerfly lt7 and the Cube VTT Electrique 29" or 27.5Cube Stereo Hybrid 120 Race 500. any comments from that would help me to make a decision, Thanks
I'm 65 and female. I have a TREK Powerfly 9.7 and I love it but no way do I do anything extreme so maybe a tad wasted on me. But I totally love it and do miles around here. Amazing area for mountain biking.
Hi ,thanks for the review, interesting to here different peoples opinions of this bike, most reviews find the bike a alittle dead(not poppy) due to the long chainstays, maybe this has less effect on a XL size bike(how tall are you?) I have brought this model in XL should have it next week, also ordered a 40mm stem too, max speed is 32kph in NZ (I'm 6'3 tall and on max weight for this model) what fork/shock psi did you run? I'm intermediate skill level Cheers Shane
The chainstay length is the same across models, so the ratio does change. I didn't think about including that in the video, but I'll mention it in future videos
@@UnicornBikes I guess the vibrations, and big hits from roots rocks make the dial shift, also can happen when doing bunny hops, I got 120mm fox 32, it almost locked out at a downhill once, after that I zipties it, good I was skilled and experienced so I was able to avoid a crash.
Great video, thanks. How tall are you? I am 6'5" tall and am having difficulty finding an e-mountain bike with a good fit? What are your thoughts on the XL or any other bike that I should try? I'd appreciate your feedback.
E.U. regulations. Hmmm.... I wonder if post Brexit we might be able to get unrestricted e-bikes in the UK? I suspect that riders would be forced to take a CBT motorcycle test and have to get a provisional drivers licence, pay road tax, insurance and a whole load of other stealth taxes that would ruin the experience anyway. Boo hoo. I love Trek's. Bontrager stock parts are the dogs bollox.
Still my dream bike to this day 😍 My bike shop have this on sale from £5200 to £3600 right now, but I'm not sure yet
you got something good going here, you mention things not many reviewers mention.
Awesome review, I love how technical you were. Was wondering what specific type of charger it takes?
Thank you. For taking time to make this vedio mate

I'd probably get something like a Mondraker level

Better off with the 2020 Trek Rail with the new gen motor and 625 wh battery.

did you experience any issues with the fork locking out due to the Grip dial? that's an issue I have, so I have to use Zip ties to keep it secure.
No, I didn't experience that at all, does yours just move from riding?

SO your prefer the Shimano shifters Which bikes with that system do you prefer?

I have never even seen the Norco, so I cant compare
Good video very informative
