- Special “Thanks” to all our Patrons, whos financial support was used to build these walls and purchase expendables and ballistic gel for this video.
One of our favorite videos (and most commented) was Karl’s “Best Weapon for Home Defense.” Who would have figured that Karl would pick a rifle? Go Figure. Many of the controversial comments were around the topic of “over-penetration” of walls. There are lots of opinions on the subject, but very little actual data. So, rather than argue back & forth, we decided to do another video focused on the penetration of various walls with various firearms.
Great idea for a video, but once we started staffing this, we realized that it was going to take too long and cost too much. Karl hates the word “Can’t” and we made the decision that if we were going to invest a lot of time and money into making a video, then we better go all out and make it a standard that will stand for a while.
Which walls to build? Drywall interior wall and Cinder Block were both “No brainers.” We then added the exterior walls of common American homes, both Red Brick and Vinyl/Wood sided. We then noticed that many apartment buildings in “older/classic/historical” areas were using cinder block with red brick on the outside, to make it look “older.” This added another layer of protection; so let’s test that too. Finally, there are hundreds of thousands of Trail/Mobile Homes here in the US. So, we got permission to cut a wall out of a trailer home. That was kinda weird, with the dirty looks the neighbors were giving us.
What guns to use? Rifle, pistol, shotgun is obvious; but what types of rounds? We decided to stick with military 9mm ball, instead of the various hollow points, as the ball would penetrate more. We also shot it out of a SIG MPX. The longer barrel allows the pistol caliber round to fully speed up before exiting the barrel. We did this because we didn’t want Ninjas coming back saying that their Glock/SIG/Colt shot faster than our “test pistol” and therefore our findings were invalid. Yes, a 44 Magnum would possibly penetrate more, and a .45ACP would penetrate less. Who the hell is using a .44 Magnum anymore? Dirty Harry? For Shotgun, we went with a common home defense length Remington 870. We then used common 7 ½ Birdshot, common 00 Buckshot, and common 1 ounce Slugs. Yes, “Flight Control” buckshot groups tighter and “Turkey Storm” hits harder; but both are not common home defense rounds and also they would both have little effect on our test. For the rifle, we went with the most common 5.56mm round available in the US; the 55 grain full metal jacket. Yes, AK or 300blk would hit harder. Yes, “Green Tip” would penetrate better. On and on, there are hundreds of variables on loads. So, again, we stuck with the most common.
To measure energy after penetration, we used ballistic gelatin blocks, purchased from Clear Ballistics. This is really cool stuff. It’s reusable, once you melt it down. It reacts the same as the standard “FBI” gel that we have used in past videos. So, results are uniform.
We hope that you enjoy the video. We will be making more videos along these lines. Again, we couldn’t do this without the support of our Patrons. Thanks for taking the time to time-stamp this video. TR
@@TacticalRifleman Nah, thank you. While I have your attention, I would love to see you take these walls and shoot a human sized gel IN FRONT of the walls, to see how far it would penetrate after you shoot through a body. Also, would love to see you use some of these walls in ricochet demonstrations. You might or may not be surprised on how crazy accurate you can shoot a ricochet and I think it should be in everyone's tactical toolbox for defending against it or using it to your tactical advantage!
Those are some interesting questions.
I'm up for some of that.
This is an EXCELLENT presentation and the timestamps are a Valuable Courtesy.
Many Thanks, to All.

@@cardboardcapeii4286 thanks
this was an expensive and time consuming video, but very helpful. thank you for doing this for us.
This was/is an absolute fantastic video. I thank both of you so very much!!
I would like to see what a 308 from something like an FAL or scar 17 would do. I know they're not used for home defense as often as the rounds you used, but it would've been an interesting comparison.
The findings in this video would make some of my local gun shops employee “experts” not so credible anymore 😂
Truth hurts
It depends what type of round and grain. Fmj 9mm would prolly go easy.
My defensive plan includes using my stairs as a choke point, which also allows me to direct any fire downward to minimize any chances of collateral damage or projectiles leaving my house. The top of my stairs have a half wall all the way down one side and at the end of the stairs (like an "L" with the stairs exiting the left side of the bottom of the "L"). Both of those half walls have been filled with gravel. There is 1/2” plywood under the drywall in both sides to hold the weight of the gravel and keep it from pushing outward. I've tested this setup and none of my guns will get through the second side. Unless an intruder has a 50 BMG I should be good. This was a REALLY cheap and easy way to add some ballistic protection to my home defense strategy. It stops 9mm, 12 gauge slugs, 5.56, 7.62x39, and even 308. Only cost a weekend and a couple hundred bucks.
Solid plan. Thanks for sharing. TR
Good to see that brick has plenty of stopping power!! Got me some brick 😀!!
Most commercial block construction is load bearing and therefore filled with rebar and concrete. SOLID!! nothing coming out of a rifle is going they that! Nope, don’t think a 50BMG goes thru it either!!
Great work on this video. Looking forward to a future installment featuring JHPs.
On the list for future videos in this series. Thanks for watching, TR
A lot of great info, thx guys! Keep up the great videos👍
Glad i have brick, though I wish he did plaster walls.
You guys should do 7.62x39, 5.7x28, and 7.62x54
Excellent test. Would like to have seen 308 and 7.62x39 included. By product of the test was to reveal the walls structure for cover. Most individuals don't think about having 9 .36 caliber balls going down range all at once when shooting buckshot as compared to a single round from a rifle or handgun. God bless!
Can you add the average typical furniture behind the drywalls? It would be helpful to see which furniture can help add protection for family members to hide behind. Great information on this video.
Good info
Love this shit
I wanna see bathtubs, fridges, other cover you’d use in a house, cars etc.
no shotguns. We know they don’t penetrate shit.
So pretty much anything can go through drywall for the most part, it’s just out of the house basically people need to worry about and train with whatever they have
I'd like to see these tests with .45 acp and .38 special as well
JD, We have included .45ACP is other videos in this series, that you can find in our video archive, speciffically, dealing with Drywall. However, .38 Special has fallen from popularity. You can watch performance of 9mm and gauge you it would perform (similarly) from there. Thanks for waching, TR
Yeah but... how well do those walls stand up to 7.62x39 and x51?
Those and other rounds were used in part-2 of this video, that you can find in our video archive. Thanks for watching, TR
Birdshot FTW!
Great video, but I miss 7,62mm and maybe .45 ACP - this would be also nice to see.
Is he a Mason those walls looked good
Built by an 18C Special Forces Engineer
A real shame you didnt add a 7.62 to the mix.
We covered 300blk, AK, 7.62x51mm, and Green Tip in the Part-2 of this video. You can find it in our video archive. Thanks for watching, TR
Great vid buy I think it would have been more constructive to use 9mm and 45 hollow points out of pistols rather than 9mm ball out of an smg
We plan to do that in future videos in this series. This video was already a half hour long. If I used hollow points, guys would have bitched that I should have used ball or THEIR hollow point. Thanks for watching, TR
There seems to be some confusion between what’s practical and what’s academic, both in the video and in the comments...
Measuring the penetration of a rifle round through brick/concrete is academic in this context.
1) Shooting through such a wall with the intent of hitting someone on the other side would require a much more powerful cartridge (and a thermal scope), and I can’t imagine a ‘home-defence’ scenario where you would be outside shooting into your home at an intruder.
2) Testing the ‘over-penetration’ (giggity) would require the gelatine to be on the front side of the wall.
Anyway... I did enjoy the video. Would love to see some .308win and .300WM (most popular sniper calibers, according to Remington). Oh, and a thermal scope. 😬
Loco, thermals can’t see through walls... that’s only Hollywood.

I forgot to put the 😀 in the parentheses... my bad.
This is seriously the best demonstration I've ever seen on UA-cam. These guys put in a ton of time, effort, money, and knowledge and it shows. Thank you guys
Thanks for watching, TR
It is a good demonstration, and while I wouldn't say to take it with a grain of salt because it's deserving of more consideration than that for sure, I have personally seen 9mm and 5.56 go through cinderblocks. Also, they weaken fast and crumble after a couple of close-together shots, so I personally wouldn't want to rely on them as cover for more than a second or two.
And again I'm not trying to argue or anything, this is an informative video for sure.
@@amorg85I think individual cinder blocks are going to be easier to destroy.
In a wall you have a lot of weight on the blocks to keep them together.
Legend has it, he neutralised several bad guys, walked up to their smouldering corpses and uttered the immortal phrase - "alright boys". There was no answer...

That's good training should your love pillow ever be in immortal danger!
It seems like all the 5.56 testing I've seen done against walls has been Ball ammo (FMJ). A varmint bullet (Nosler Ballistic tip, Hornady V max etc.) completely changes the penetration characteristics. The over penetration debate should really be about the type of bullet used rather then pistol vs. rifle vs. shot gun. Any of these weapons can "over penetrate" depending on the TYPE of projectile used.
We have future videos planned to address these issues.
@@TacticalRifleman Awesome! I do enjoy all videos.
I agree. LE usually uses some type of soft or hollow point to mitigate over penetration. Guess you are screwed living in a trailer park. Great videos Gents!
If you guys need another idea for a video, add ballistics gel in front of the interior walls to simulate shooting the assailant and having somebody behind the wall for instance one bedroom to another. Just an idea. I know you were trying to simulate a total miss here. Great video.
Gonna do it in a future video
Not a bad idea.
That be interesting to see.
@@TacticalRifleman How about the Paul Harrell meat target ? A layer of denim over pork chop pectorals backed by pork ribs over a bag of oranges to simulate lungs , with pork ribs and another layer of pork chops , another layer of denim , and backed by a " high tech" bullet stop of multiple layers of synthetic fleece . WHEW ! That's a lot of typing . And that would get pricy very quickly . I wonder who eats the meat and oranges after Paul shoots them . His grocery bill is probably larger than his ammo cost .
Tactical Rifleman along the same lines as the comment above, it would also be interesting to include some variations of each caliber of pistol and rifle such as OTM, SP, and ballistic tip rounds
@lahokc59 Missed by that much . Ha !
Don Shipley is peeking around the corner: "Did i hear SEAL?"
How about green tip and some 308?
Future videos already planned
Why on earth would you use a green tip .308 as your home defense cartridge?! That's retarded!
Definitely need to see some .300 Blackout info...
why green tip or stronger? I think you missed the point.
Green tip is good if you need to blast through walls or barriers to hit your intended target. However it has much less effect on your target than it's counterpart, XM193.
308 may perform better than what most think. Use a good soft tip or hollow point, major wound devestation but lacks the ability to penetrate compared to an fmj or other calibers. However with any rifle, ammunition choice is important and I'd never recommend a fmj for home defense unless it's 556/223 like XM193, those are the only exception.
I’d like to see the test reversed, shoot into the gel first in front of the walls. Simulating shooting a bag guy and seeing what possible overpenetration would do.
I recommend watching some Paul Harrell vids. He regularly shoots a "meat target", and uses fleece blankets for backstops. He also tests common loads, as well as the "hyper" ammos.
Paul Harrell just did it in a video. Near target, wall, meat target to simulate bad guy, wall, innocent.
Great idea!
ALRIGHT BOIS!!!
Man, you guys really went all out on your wall construction.. A+ either way

American Ingenuity against Crime.
how about the 7.62 against the same constructs?
Would probably zip through everything except the first wall ( and even that one after a few rounds in the right place). That's a big part of the reason why we issue 7.62 mm belt feds at a platoon level. They're not really even purely anti-personnel weapons, but do serious damage to structures. Three or four rounds of M80 A1 will punch through most common building materials, except for the most reinforced structures. And 7.62 NATO AP rounds will zip through the first one as well
x39, x51 and x54r
@@Laotzu.Goldbug But those rounds see little use for personal defense because they are obviously irresponsible in an urbanized area. However, an expanding round like the 155 gr Hornady Amax can provide over 3/4 the tissue displacement as a 12 gauge buckshot round with adequate penetration for defensive use. Likewise, the M118LR with the 175 gr SMK and a hunting load with a common cup and core JSP might be interesting choices for the sake of comparison. Some people do use rifles like the AR-10 and Springfield M1A SOCOM for home defense, just not, hopefully, with AP rounds.
Bob pickett I believe it would’ve been cool but they aren’t really common rounds outside of the military
AK ammo will chew through cinder blocks much better than 5.56mm. Lots of videos on UA-cam to show it.
Lets give these guys and their team a round of applause.. this took alot of money, time, effort and dedication.. the gun community would like to award you guys the platinum AR award, for uncommon dedication to the firearm and second ammendment community

would like to see 7.62R and .308 as well, and 50bmg just for fun
Future Video.
I'd imagine 308 and 7.62r would be similar to the slug. 50bmg would circumnavigate the globe and land next to the shooter.
matt taylor
Nah, .308 would penetrate the cinderblock wall for sure. Would probably make a good go at busting through the brick/cinder block combo. Don't think it would bust through, but it would crack the backside of the cinderblock portion.
matt taylor
I would suspect that the 308win would have a far greater chance of poking a hole through... small bullet mass, but three times the speed of the slug. The slug would probably mess up the wall more though... :)
Can't believe this Navy Seal guy thought a RIFLE round (5.56) wouldn't go through DRY WALL??? Like WHAT??
Thank you, I actually went back to see if he actually said that. Who the hell would think drywall would stop a pistol round let alone a rifle round?
Carl called him a subject matter expert on this too 😬
Good thing people aren't making lightweight gypsum armor! I've heard high praise of the tumbling ability of the 556 round before. Impressive that seemed to drop to 9mm levels of penetration, at least.
If I had a dollar for every time he said “alright boys”, lol 😂
Legend has it he starts ever sentence with alright gents.
The dude in the green annoyed the shit outa me !!!!!!
“If you can zoom in right here”
Cameraman: No, No I don’t think I will.
Hmmm! Still a lot of over-penetration I might have to switch to the ‘Education Stick’ (baseball bat)!
My 1200 fps .177 air rifle does more penetrations in solid red brick than most of those Firearms....lol....
Majority of the Southwest homes are built using paper mache but most people know it as stucco. It's all terrible regardless of the terminology. If your residence isn't built from brick, stone or concrete in some manner then all you have is shelter - not protection. Regardless of the material, I recommend you defend that residence by any means necessary to keep you and your family safe.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
Keep up the good work my friends.
A few years ago we had a rash of burglaries where the thieves used a very sharp knife to cut the vinyl siding from outside and then kicked in the sheet rock to get in. You're right. A real protected house is built from brick, stone or concrete.
Stucco on the outside is pretty common out in CA too. But due to earthquakes, anything made from cinderblock is bound to have least rebar inside of it, if not concrete as well.
Phoenix area, I totally agree that every home in Maricopa County built after 1978 is Cal stucco. Not worth it's weight in cover/concealment. It won't stop a .22 mag.
Brick sucks in a coastal climate. Properly applied stucco is a much better moisture barrier.
That's why I like the old victorian homes. They used real wood, wooden slats, plaster, thick exterior wood siding, and have that beautiful old style thats not used anymore. But they make great giant matchsticks though!
Stoked I subscribed to this channel - just found it. Awesome content with awesome guys ! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Great video Karl, but seriously you need to paint your walls, I've got about 10 layers of paint on each side ahahaha
ifell3 curious if there’s such thing as armour paint. That has micro pieces of metal in it that holds it together better and reinforces
hahahaha used to have lead in paint, i wonder if you built up the layers ^^
@@cclcanadiancountrylife3628 - Not sure about armored paint, but there is armored drywall. It's bullet proof up to 45acp I believe.
Fuckin outstanding video as always!!!! So, what this vid proves is that like any time you choose to fire a gun you need to do your damndest to hit what you're targeting. The .556 through interior wall didn't pass through the ballistic gel on the other side. But, if the gel was a loved one on the other side of the wall they'd be smoked. I pray I never have to use my gun in a defensive manner. If I ever have to, I squeeze my hands together a lil tighter praying that every round i use hits what's threatening my family and/or me. There's nothing wrong with over penetration as long as the bad guys dead and there's nothing you cherish on the other side.
Appreciate the amount of work that went into this video. For all the comments asking for a different caliber/ammo combination, I would simply ask “where’s your donation?” Nothing I saw in this video was done on the cheap. These gentleman’s time, the materials and construction effort, the weapons, the ammo, the video/sound equipment and the editing were all top notch.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. This video took forever to make. We appreciate the support. Merry Christmas, TR
If nothing penetrated the first red brick wall why did you expect a different result just because you added an interior wall?
At least half of this is redundant. Ugh.
was hoping to see bigger calibers, maybe another video? .308, 7.62?
Fantastic video and impeccable level of scientific rigor in your tests.
It also totally backs up an anecdotal story I heard a few months ago.
A guy I know was telling me about his mate that emigrated to America and works as a forensic investigator. He constantly bangs-on that if you rent or buy a place, make sure its an old building, because the walls will be made of brick. He keeps telling his friends that since he moved to America, most of the cases he's working on are people that got shot incidentally, through dry-wall partition who were not even involved in the gunfight directly. Apparently some of the fatal shootings are people that live 2-3 apartments away, who get hit by bullets passing through 4-6 layers of Gyprock.
Watching your video makes me think this guy is not paranoid.
So true... thanks for watching, TR
Great construction! Should have been a Navy Seabee.😀
'
This is a good demonstration for urban prowlers and what a miss might do to the neighbors brick. Glad no penetration.
It would be interesting to see what a standard FMJ 45 cal ( non +p) would do to the interior wall out of a 5 inch barrel.
I'm imagining it would punch through drywall and wood like it wasn't there. It would he stopped by the brick or cement like everything else, though
✋you can keep the nickelback tickets.
If Karl would've cut a different section of that trailer there could've been a nickelback poster to go with the tickets.
🎸 Look at this graph 📊
>uses 5.56 ammunition, a cartridge designed to fragment or tumble upon impact with something solid and rapidly release it's energy to incapacitate soft targets
>says it doesn't have the energy to push through the wall
That and uses two shot loads and 9mm against a brick wall. Why even waste the time?
Moral of the story, be it home defense or a tornado, don’t live in a mobile home…

Thanks for the nice video. In Central Europe, Cinder Blocks are usually filled with concrete/cement, never used alone without filling.
By code most places in the USA are also supposed to fill the blocks with cement. However, often, contractors skimp to save money and only pour in walls that support weight. Therefore, we replicated "worst case scenario" with empty blocks. Thanks for watching, TR
Very interesting guys but here in Australia we cant even own a firearm for self defence. It's not recognized as a genuine reason to own. Never mind the prohibition of every firearm you usef in the demo. The calibres we can have but not the firearms.

@@troydodson4837 Lmao, america and freedom of guns, yeah right. Owning guns just give your police a free pass to murder people :')
@@onedude9427 No you imbecile, no police officer is given a free pass to murder. In fact police encounters that end in dead citizens are heavily scrutanised by accomplished experts in ballistics in the immediate aftermath unlike typical homicide between citizens. If a situation smells to the coroner and the CS Investigators you can bet there will be charges. There are a few high profile cases currently in the courts because an officer did not have reasonable justification for use of lethal force. Don't believe everything Al Jazeera or the BBC tells you.
I dont get why you wouldnt shoot through the gel first
I hope whoever got those nickelback tickets burned them
No because that means the band still got their money. Demand a refund
I really like the low velocity shotgun shells. I have birdshot that travels faster than the slugs that was used. but I do understand the cost ammo 😂😂😂
Also noticed a lot of errors. You do know a whole point is not known to penetrate better than ball ammo. The whole point of a hollow point is to expand and stop. And you will never get the velocity out of a 9 mm pistol (even if it does have an arm brace lol) that you would have being fired from a 16 inch carbine rifle. Was that pistol barrel length 6 in?
Good point on barrel length and bullet distance.
For example:
Recently shot a 9mm from 16" barrel at a target sitting at 25 yards. The bullet went through the target and into a backstop of dirt at 100 yards.
Who uses ball ammo for home defense? Lol Shouldn't they use 9mm hollowpoints? I'm guessing a 9mm hollowpoint won't stop in drywall either? But how much damage and how far does it travel out the other side?
Hugh Mongus
It doesn't. Check out box'o truth. It's a website where an older gentleman tested common rounds against common barriers. The point of the video is to show what typical guns are capable of penetrating, would make sense to use the most commonplace projectiles... hence fmj.
Depending on the hollowpoint, mainly clog up on the drywall and perform like fmj. The ones that don't still easily pass through multiple layers of drywall. Barring hitting a stud or other harder object a 9mm will easily go through every interior wall in the typical house. You'd probably be able to shoot through an entire house ,exterior wall to exterior wall
assuming it wasn't brick.
And who uses a 9mm sub machine gun?! Would have been better to use a handgun with common self defense rounds like Hydroshocks or Critical defense but we get the point. Great video otherwise Gent's
Brilliant. High fidelity. Realizing multiple rounds can shift the equation.
Appreciate the hard work and investment.
Like to see frangible and Glaser 223 rounds tested. SWAT going into school shootings should understand what rounds penetrate what.😀
Really appreciate putting all the work in for this highly informative video!
I'd love to see a follow-up video testing multiple rounds against the cinder block and brick walls. Some of those rounds were really close to penetrating, and I think a follow up shot in the same area would penetrate. I would contest that a brick wall isn't much good as cover if it only holds up against one round.
I'll add it to the Video Idea List
This test was really eye opening. I thought the .556 would have more penetration, but it seems like projectile mass is important and not just energy. I used to think 556 had an over penetration risk, but I tests like this are making me question my assumptions. Great video!!!
A 5.56 rifle round is still deadly on the other side of a wall (depending on wall type obviously) on a missed target. If you shoot a 5.56 in your home and it goes through a wall with deadly force remaining, is it better than say the birdshot that is deadly on one side but not the other?
In European terms all these arent walls lmao. I appreciate the experiment and the amount of effort that went into this.
In Europe we dont use any of these materials for building. Its always either solid historical 20-50 cm brick/stone walls or straight up 15-20 cm concrete, usually reinforced with steel and insulation materials.
Really tired of SEAL this and that etc. Like no one killed bad guys before the SEALS. Like the joke what do you get when you pin on a trident..A publicist and a book deal. -3 war Retired ARSOF.

No shit, kinda doubtful as well. A "SEAL" that doesn't know shit about ballistics, needs a rest to make those shots, and calls that 9mm a machine gun?
Not surprised this was written by a ARSOF

I carry 10mm 200g hardcast lead fl, next time could you try that? (Glock 20)
Why?
In the UK the typical house external wall is double-skinned masonry with a cavity, usually filled with insulation these days. The outer wall is often brick, sometimes reconstituted stone (like mine - basically a type of concreted made with local limestone made to look like natural stone) with the inner wall being the load bearing one made of aerated block on modern constructions. Proper cinder block (made from ash from power coal power stations and held with cement) hasn't been used for a long time.
There are some brick-skinned wooden-framed houses too, but in the minority (and they will be filled with insulation).
As a former army delta seal air marshal i can tell you from personal experience simply putting glue on your walls will bounce whatever they send right back at them.
Seriously, thanks karl for your advice and serious effort into this channel
High school teacher here. We were going through our lock down procedures today. I have a nice size closet that is within an older warehouse building, and is surrounded by a cement wall on all sides. I feel like its a perfect spot to hide. I wanted to see how 5.56 holds up against this style of wall, and I think we're good. In a perfect world, we wouldn't have to do this, but sadly, we are not in a perfect world. In a near perfect world, I would protect my students by carrying, but I live in California, and we don't have much we can do here but hide and fight with generic classroom supplies. Thanks for the video, guys. I hope we never have to worry about this, but we have to be prepared.
Stock your classroom with expedient weapons that your larger kids can use. Seriously, baseball bats and brooms are all decent weapons and very inconspicuous for you to keep in a classroom. Cans of Bear spray, for an upcoming field trip also are nice to have around. Thanks for watching, TR
Phrase of the day "alright boys". Let's turn this into a drinking game. Everytime he says it, take a shot!
Already drunk
Fantastic video guys thanks for the info. Remember nothing ventured, nothing learned. That being said have you done a video with the opposite set up? For instance what will the projectiles do when shot through the gel and then the wall? Essentially what happens when you don't miss?
You can find that video in our video archive... Best Ammo for Home Defense
@@TacticalRifleman very good thanks.
👍 good information..any intention on doing a video on stories about Iraq & Afghanistan ? Could be about building's,sh÷t an mud house.thank you for your service.
We actually do a new War Story every month on our Patreon. Sorry, but we don’t offer them to the general public, just our supporters. TR

Ok thank you.
The "alright boys" thing is at a very high level of weirdness.
That’s just Jason
This video and all the prep must have taken so fucking long to put together lol. I wish they would have used 62gr green tip ammo though since it penetrates more and is what the military uses.
Keenan, we have Green Tip planned for a future video in this series. Thanks for watching, TR
Tactical Rifleman oh awesome can’t wait to see!
How you not going to do 7.62
In Southern Cali, we got a lot of stucco exterior walls.
@@honeybadger4883 Guess you've never been to California, especially the southern half where gun ownership is high regardless of how the media portrays it. And legislation is passed without the people's say, but its apparent that you don't know that little tidbit. (fake smile back) :-D
I always wonder about over penetration leaving a house and hitting a neighbor's. Two exterior walls is what I'm thinking, cause them ar rounds are moving quick. I was interested to see 9mm ceramic rounds and their penetration.
*alright boys*
It would be cool to see some testing done with common hollowpoints versus frangibles in residential building materials. Would using a .223 Hornady V-Max be safer than a 5.56 ball round in interior drywall? Does using a Glaser Safety Slug make your 9mm safer for the neighbors versus a hollow[point?
Worth watching. Knowing is better than guessing.
The 3-Little Pigs would’ve given this video a thumbs-up if they had opposable thumbs.
Isn't it funny how people react to things, this man has seen and been through things I couldn't even imagine as a NAG (Non Action Guy 😂). But when you stick a camera infront of him he still gets nervous and jumbles his speech. Great informative video and a fun psychological treat, thanks Karl.
Thanks for watching, TR
Doesn't take a rocket scientists to kick in doors and shoot people. They signed up for it and got paid. No appreciation is needed. Just sayin. Real warriors dont want your thanks
Exterior superficial damage, not structural damage... still... fun video! I know it took a TON of work and time. I live in a brick house and...I've always wondered...
Great
Information like this is priceless!!!!🤜🤛🇺🇸🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it
