That's really cool Jet Li brought the themes of balance into the writing & character. It fit really well with the multiverse story concept. The movie's kind of a grab bag of various ideas, most people look down on it as just an action film but despite the "weird mix of themes" I love how it all works.
@antourte1 And that was really Jet's first leading role in the US so a lot saw him for the first time, for those who didn't get to see him for the short time that he was in Lethal Weapon 4, and then he exploded onto the scene in Hollywood with Hero, Fearless, and then The Warlords (which all got him some serious award show nominations and a few wins as well). My personal favorite still is actually Unleashed followed closely by Kiss of The Dragon.
I also always loved that Jet Li would think of different original kinds of finishing kills for his toughest opponents.
No surprise that Statham liked working with Jet in this one because they would go on to work with each other 4 more times. All very well done films. This one also propelled Statham into being more recognizable.
This was my first jet li movie. I was 9 years old when this came out ❤

I have his profile picture called “Gabe Law” , But exactly. Also thanks for saying a nice word at me though etc. The thing is in my other video, i’ve been uploading that called How i started The One (2001) Jet Li film. Because obviously Im saying it looks like me in that film, but the word i like too say, it’s called “Impersonation” in my opinion though. And yes.
The reason is i like to become Gabe Law in real life when i grow up. Well it’s just a movie, things aren’t true though. Because Gabe Law has Stregth while being a superhuman in this film. Like Enhance Stregth and other things like that too in this film. That’s i already figured them out though, and yes.
