It wasn't a Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX demo on Tony Hawk, but a Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX demo. The former is very different, the latter is built on the THPS engine.
GBA collecting and completionist hunting is crazy right now; earlier this year I put my Pokemon Fire Red manual and box only for sale on eBay and it sold immediately. No game, no wireless adapter, no cardboard insert, no other paperwork. I checked my email and the one for "your item has sold" arrived before the "Your item has been listed" one.
A good way to display gba games without the original boxes is to use cassette cases. There's a lot of tutorials and templates where you can easily make custom cases that look decent.
It's because Gamestop hasn't taken any retro trade-ins since they reopened from lockdown. Pretty much only taking current gen stuff. It's why they've had no PS3 or Wii U consoles since early summer.
@@tangytangerine yeah my ps3 died in August and they were sold out company-wide. Had to buy a jank refurb off a scalper on ebay for 200. I did find a better condition one from a mom and pop a month later but yeah insane.

If you are wanting to start a video game collection and don’t want to spend a ton of money, I recommend going after the PS2 and original Xbox. Those games at my local game store are super cheap
Gba cartridges really are super tough. I have a need for speed that's been through the wash multiple times, chewed up by the dogs and it still works. When I was little, my cousins left all my games out in the rain with the console. All of it still works to this day.

Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World - great find. I've been meaning to pick it up for years. Front label looks great! That's a Merry Christmas, indeed.
I love how Spawn addresses the fact that people are worried about GameStop selling repros and then immediately pulls out a repro SNES cart from the bag.
Wrong. You did proof that you have no idea about SNES. This Cartridge is offical. There's even a PAL Bundle that came with that cartridge(called "Super Mario 5 Stars Pack"). So it's Mario Allstars + Word and in this Version, Nintendo actually changed some sprites. Luigi looks actually like Luigi and not a green Mario. Yoshi has his Arms collored green instead of the strange orange ones. ect. Next time, google it, before showing your lack of knowledge.
This just made me realize something that happened with a GBA game i used to own. I got a used GBA game from GameStop where the save data wouldn't be kept saved. It was temporary until turned off. Now that I think about it, the cartridge was a little off too. I think GameStop sold a fake Megaman Battle Network 5 cartridge way back then.
I miss these GameCube collecting videos. Thank you for the update. Adding GBA games to the mix would be a cool addition to the series, though, I'm sure it'll be difficult to get those complete for a decent price. I regret selling Astroboy Omega Factor. Sold it many years ago along with a few other games to pay bills. Looked it up online a few months ago and the asking price for it was high.
Idk if you're aware but even if an eBay listing says "no returns", if the item is not as described (not authentic) then you can still return it. eBay always protects buyers.
Eternal Darkness was one of my favorite Gamecube games back when it first came out. I think the first games I got with it for Christmas during that time, was Luigi's Mansion, Madden NFL 2002, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.
As a Canadian who has to deal with the lackluster ebgames I’d still take this to be fair, I bought a ps1 and like 40 games from GameStop while I was in the states a couple of years ago
I tried looking for Golden Sun on ebay a while ago. Every single one I saw was a repro. I didn't see anyone trying to pass them off as real, but there are still a LOT of people selling those repros
The reason their retro section pretty has everything out of stock is because the stores were told when they reopened back in May to not take anything besides PS4/XB1/Switch as trade-ins. That's why they've been out of PS3 and Wii U consoles since early summer. So until they loosen up their restrictions, it's going to be impossible to find anything decent on GS's website to order retro-wise.
