Let's get those creative juices flowing. If that hypothetical comic/manga becomes a reality one day, what potential stories would you like for it to cover?
any kind of origin story for cyn
The main trio (post series) going on small adventures searching through the old colonies. Mostly as an appointed mission by Khan.
I guess it could give us more information on what the heck Cyn is doing as part of Uzi now. I think if the side characters such as Lizzy and Thad had their own short stories or something would be awesome
The remaining 3 planets of humans (revealed in episode 6) hunting down Cynuzi for revenge on Cyn.
Remember we’re talking about a super advanced sci-fi race of humans here, they could present a serious threat if given prep time.
Definitely would like to see something abt v surviving like you said, but honestly just some stuff about the cast just existing would be awesome:D

The concept art of the characters makes me single handedly believe that a 2D animated version of MD would work EXTREMELY well. Arguably even better than the 3D version.

Ok but why is nobody talking abt the post credit scene? Uzi looked very tired, drained and mentally unwell. And clearly Cyn is still in her, probably annoying her and draining her. That scene wasn’t just her being annoyed at the solver. She looked very tired of it. Also why did an eldritch being flash in the mirror? This is a cliffhanger for sure. And Liam keeps adding things to make it look like a season 2 could happen! Like Uzi’s presentation said “I’m not solved yet”. There is clearly more to this story. We could tell swallowing the null made her look almost sick. I don’t know why anyone wont point this out for season 2 potential.

So, Tessa James Eliot found N, V. and J as "dumpster pets" and at that time they were worker drones, not murder drones. I really would want to see where those 3 were created and how they were discarded to eventually end up near the mansion... would be a really good spin-off in my opinion.
they were worker drones, did that imply there were OTHER types of drones in the world too??? that wouldve been epic to explore, which is what im saying, we really only saw a small piece of the world; random mansion, rich people that obviously own these "worker drones" to work... but were there other types for other duties?? like protection drones or something for government officials maybe?? like i wanna know if there were even other drones on the OTHER side of the planet uzi and n currently inhabit,,,, or if theres other planets with drones.... because also honestly, doesnt uzi still need drone oil to survive?? arent there a limited amount of resources to make drones or even OIL on their current planet???

and there's no doubt in my mind that temperature stabalization could be done with shoveling snow into their mouths, the oil couldn't be colder than snow because of it still being liquid on an exoplanet, a planet without a star, so that snow would probably be well into the -30 degree (Celsius) range
either that or a synthetic oil replacement
well either that or uzi with the solver's power could possibly just make cooling a non-issue, they were intended to overheat after killing the workers after all
hell, uzi could just plug N and V to a computer and change some settings to reduce amperage in their CPU's, which would in turn reduce overheating issues
plus they are on a planet designated for mining operations, hence the name copper-9, if resources get tight then mining trips for the worker drones that want kids

They definitely ended the episode in a way where not everything was clear on purpose. Like they said they have the right to do whatever they want with these characters going forward (so let’s hope they make good decisions there.) I do think we will get a little more things MD related. But even if we weren’t, I’m more then satisfied with the way this show ended and I will forever love this show for what it was.

I feel like they did a very open ending so that fan animations / stories can be made about for example, what if Uzi turned evil because of Cyn or what happened after they defeated Cyn

2:28 In fact, that makes me think that there could be a second season and that Liam is trolling us, because he would leave J alive if she literally worked with Cyn and betrayed her colleagues, which makes her a villain along with Cyn, another thing The thing is that the episode only lasted 20 minutes, which to be the final chapter of Murder Drones is too short. I think we were all expecting a duration of 40 minutes or even 1 hour. The ending feels more like a season than a series and well, Bro, I think there is a possibility that Liam is trolling or that he is actually planning a second season for the future, whether near or distant.
Or J is getting the Azula treatment and they meet again in the comics.
If we do get a season 2 or if Liam decides to work with glitch again, it will probably be in 2030-2031

Doll's HUD (the exact same HUD we saw from Doll's perspective in E7, includes her name in the bottom-right) can be seen for a couple frames from Uzi's perspective while she is glitching out after eating the Solver core thingy.
I wonder if it has to do with that black shadowy figure with a red face we saw during the credits.
You know, at first I thought it was a simple and sneaky callback to TessCyn, or a little glimpse at a "Uzi Solver" situation, but considering that the color was a little more pink... Could it be Yeva, or Nori with an actual body?
Maybe I'm just reaching for straws and pulling stuff out from my hat, but... I don't know

A spin off show is honestly possible, it's very obvious they were teasing something with the post credits scene, in the credits there is a doll puppet thing and an eldritch worm in the cryosleep area.

I would really love mini bite sized episodes that take place between the main episodes, I know there’s smth like that in production but it’d be nice to see an official one
There are more than enough hints in the Post Credit scenes to believe that everything isn't over yet, but for now it's being called the finale to let Liam Vickers have a rest and recouperate so he doesn't burn out. Either way, it's ended in a way that if he does decide to return to Murder Drones, he has the perfect setup to a Season 2 and if not, then it's still a perfect place to end on.
Remember a few things in regard to Liam Vickers:
1.) His word isn't completely trustworthy. He's said certain things were certainties like Thad never coming back or N never wearing pants, and... they happened anyways. He's more than capable of walking back on his decision to end Murder Drones if he wants to.
2.) Liam is infamous for not finishing projects he starts. If he never makes Season 2, this would be the first project he ever successfully finished in his life.

I fully agree with the idea that the series doesn’t need continuing, or the idea of it getting such treatment, It’s wrapped up pretty much perfectly, all i could really see is something like a mostly comedic comic series, apart from that I don’t think much more could be actually done with it. I can’t speak for Liam Vickers obviously, I don’t know if BTS murder drones got rushed to a finale thanks to digital circus or anything, but the series feels pretty much complete.
All we can do is wait and be patient for what comes next....

I’m convinced the Doll looking thing is a new version of the Solver. Remember we still don’t know if Cyn as an individual being was “alive” when the AS activated. If AS activated in the already dead Cyn then the process repeated itself with Doll’s body and a new iteration of the AS has activated. Plus I might be reading too much into this but the J solver was shown to be in cryo and technically the body at the core of the planet is possibly still there.

It definitely is very uncertain. I think the most likely scenario is that some characters will be used in Gltich Inn shorts and crossover animations. I doubt we will get any kind of spin off. A MD comic and more merch is also likely.
There may be a season 2 because of the end of episode 8. If it's not a teaser, I WILL cry.

In 2:27 J is on the spaceship but she isnt with any of the other characters in the credits. And when I watched Murder Drones Episode 8, It didnt look like J really died. And if shes back, she would still be on Cyn's side and try to get Cyn back somehow. And when Uzi eats Cyn's core, she seems sick and at the end of the episode when shes at her locker she looks drained and tired which is probably from Cyn. And also in 0:06 in the background on the screen it says "Im not solved". So there might be more Murder Drones but who knows....
Another thing I would like is that they turn to making short MD videos (1-2 min videos) filling up any empty spaces like in between episodes, how V survived, what happened with Nori, etc.
If a spin off does happen. I’m worried that it might mess up some of the good we have still in the show. It’s a risk. It might mess up things more or it could improve what was lost.

I’ve seen this comparison thrown around but Murder Drones’ (solid enough) ending definitely feels like gravity falls.
And stay with me here, gravity falls had a very similar ending to Murder Drones. Especially with how open it was. We have a couple dozen intriguing threads.
-J being alive in the credits
-Doll’s hallway…ghost? Thing? Maybe Yeva? We saw Doll’s room cleared out.
Who knows. Most recently did Gravity Falls have the book of bill, which is a soft continuation explaining drops of lore. We very well could get something like this. Non-animated supplemental material.
I will continue it, I just need someone who can make sprites(it's a game). The soundtrack is already figured out.

@heavygaming1167 it's more of a continuation of episode 8, and trust me, the story behind it is VERY dark. It involves torture, and it's in different perspectives, so you know what the other characters are thinking. With multiple endings.
The future of my motivation and video ideas is uncertain.
I think a comic might be likely. But a spinoff series also makes sense to me. Not like an episodic series like Murder Drones, but maybe a series of shorts detailing J’s shenanigans. We see that she survived and is working on repairing the spaceship in the credits, so that leaves the question, Why? What is she doing? Where is she planning on going? Why hasn’t she met back up with the others? (Pride probably), and most importantly, *where is the justice* ?
Doll’s ghost is a little interesting to me. I remember a theory that somebody had about everyone the Solver consumed being held within the singularity as its source of power. I never really thought much of that theory, but maybe… maybe? Maybe it was just a visual gag for the credits. Why not.
The only complaint i had about the ending is that its a type of ending for a season it wasn't a good ending for the SERIES finale to be fair
and the best they can do is make shorts that are how they live after the finales events or make a spin off show of the same thing

Can't stop my self from speculating that doll might come back in the future, with both the scene of her body and the little appearance in the credits even if is very unlikely.
There’s so much unexplained stuff. If the make a comic series, it’s gonna be about the origins of the solver, and especially of Cyn. Because at the end of the episode, Uzi just gains Cyn’s abilities from the solver, and no evil thoughts. Clearly, Cyn had intentions to begin with.
We may never know they might actually do more episodes. We don’t know hopefully they do. I will help franchise it.
if we're all in a fairly pessimistic mood today, we could MAAYBE say that the sentence "We're going to do more stuff with Uzi and N" could be a reference to promotional material, i.e the concept of using them as mascots for glitch, the company as a whole, merch maybe?? I would absolutely love a mini series or comic about Nori and Yeva before the events of the show, maybe I'm totally crazy because Nori is the best character in the series, but I hope it happens.

I think at least for now that they are completely done with the show to focus on other projects too. Though if they ever decide to continue it in some way there are definitely things in place like the ending scene. The fact that they spent so much time on the ending episode too probably means they are done with any major thing with it for at least a few years.

Murder Drones is PEAK. I would be beyond hyped for anything Liam has to offer. That being said, if it truly all ends here, I am satisfied with this conclusion, they really went out with a bang.

I would definitely like to see other types of Murder Drones. Seeing how there were a lot of dead ones killed by that one antler robot, I’ve always thought about what their different personalities could be like.
2:51 as J said “There is no escape! Even in death!” This leads me to believe this is doll for 2 reasons: the skirt and the helmet. Think about it, only (most of) the female drones wear skirts, but if you can look closely, you can see a helmet as well but this may be false because the eyes do look pretty damn different
@splattyDS It could be a sort of situation where if you eat a core, you take that person with you. As far as my understanding goes, the core is kinda like a usb drive. Once you eat it, you take that person with you. So basically

I hope we learn more about the Solvers abilities since Doll was able to do Cyn's Teleport and Uzi was able to use Null. Also Doll was the only one who created and altered objects (I think). Or if Uzi actually can also use the Callback Ping since it looked like she fired it back at Cyn since her eye turned purple for a sec.
I don't think there is a future, all glitch will use MD for is marketing

Maybe we’ll see the prequel of Yeva,Nori and Kahn and their background,How V lived, or even how/why Lizzy and Thad teaming up. Those are the only 3 I can see possibly being something they explore. I will say this from my standpoint as a writer MAYBE JUST MAYBE if they do anything they could handle stuff like depression and LGBTQIA+ like how N was scared and alone, V’s regrets,why J is an btch,things Nori regrets and maybe even see the real Cyn before the solver.
I do honestly think there’s gonna be a spinoff. Not a like 20 mins per episode, just like at tops 15 mins per episode, and it follows like either the mansion, thad and lizzy or just N and uzi.
When they say Its not over for the characters it makes me think they will make cameos in other shows(not them, but maybe a drawing of them) and cameos in the merch announcements of other shows.
As for me I will keep an eye onto Fan Aus, Fan fictions, What ifs, and comics about the future of the characters.

I do believe we will get a Season 2, just not anytime soon. They clearly left a shit ton of mysteries, cliffhangers, etc. in the credits and post-credits, so there's definitely enough material for starting a Season 2. I think that right now Glitch definitely wants to focus on TADC, but they'll probably make a Season 2 once that show's over or something.

I don't think a Season 2 will happen, since it's pretty clear that we got the SERIES FINALE with EP 8.
But the idea of comics is so nice, I'd read all of them for sure. If they do end up making comics, maybe they can fill some of the plotholes we have, since it's clear that Liam makes all of them ON PURPOSE at this point.
I think we could either have an MD comic (which I’d kill for) or shorts, similar to the Helluva Boss shorts (which I’d also kill for). Also, a S2 probably will happen. Ik Glitch and Liam have both stated this is the end, but ngl I haven’t believed it at all 😅
idea: a series about V called Murder Drone5, with the 5 being a reference to V's serial designation, as the roman numeral for 5 is V. it could possibly flesh out some of Uzi's classmates.
I really want to know both the backstory and the current actions/plan of J, in general, how she is doing there, alone, abandoned by everyone... Not everything is clear with Doll either, because she could have been in the credits when the light flickered. I also want to know how Uzi lives with Sin in the form of her tail, by the way, for a moment she turns into cameras, like the devil who wanted to fix J in the second episode. How did V manage to tame the dinosaur, how did she even survive, and what happened to Tessa? Is it really true that Sin killed her? I also want more backstory for Nori, Eva, Alice, if anyone else remembers the latter. Also, by the way, Alice could have survived, although the chances are extremely unlikely. Perhaps there are also drones on other planets
Thanks for making this video Yagsterr, I am honestly scared for what's to come next because I have a massive fear of this show just being forgotten about, Of course thats unlikely but to see atleast a comic or legit an aftermath 7 minute episode after episode 8, I would legit KILL for that.

I think a season 2 or spin-off show would be centered around J and that character we saw in the credits or that’s doll and is a reference to episode 3 I think maybe a season 2 or spinoff would be at first the drones just chilling for once until all go wrong I think we shouldn’t have a new villain I think J is all we need
