The biggest problem with MD is the pacing; I remember a review of someone saying he feels he missed episodes and this exactly shows it. If there were 12 instead of 8, it would have been close to perfection.

This would be such a good side episode unrelated to the main story to expand on the characters a bit more. V being much more vulnerable is genuinely something I really wanted to see of her character instead of the constant sarcastic diva queen we have. This explains the rapid shift from vampire demons in the woods to time travel memory hopping so well. It explains why she leaned so heavily on being so crazy towards Uzi the first four episodes. Seriously absolutely love this. Voice acting for V and Uzi was incredible!
This single fan project was not only able to address issues with the plot, but also pay so much attention to little details people would usually miss, like the song names being super silly and stupid (ex: Oh Lawd She Creepin), just like the original series (ex: Get Prommed :3) The comedy was top-notch, the dramatic moments are given the weight they deserve, and that scene with V and Uzi genuinely felt like it came straight from GLITCH themselves, and gives such a good insight to why V did what she did in Dead End. And the voice actors, Tomato and Ghoul especially, killed it! Tomato in particular did an amazing job with recapturing Micheal Kovach’s performance and tone as N. Everyone involved with this project should feel super proud of themselves, because this team was able to do something special: Make a fan project that is better than some episodes of the series. Really hoping GLITCH pulls a SEGA and hires y’all, I feel like you could do a lot of good for this show.
This does feel like it ties the episodes together much better. It explains how Uzi learned how to use her wings and stuff, and it explains how they knew to root through N and V's memories.
I dont know where to start. The voice acting, the storytelling, the character-building and development the scene where her optics mess up and she mistakenly sees Uzi as a parallel of when she was forcefully changed by the Absolute Solver?! Just chefs kiss👌 on that one and a bravo to the amazing team behind this. Glitch should have definitely took this on to be a sort of auxiliary episode. The fanbase would have gone rabid for this brilliant artistic masterpiece
every time i rewatch the show now, i’m rewatching this along with it. this is exactly the episode we were missing-lighthearted moments, seeing how Uzi dealt with how horrific and messed up her situation is, some explanation/elaboration on how V became the way she was-it’s just the perfect bridge between Cabin Fever and Home, i don’t think anyone could have asked for better. everyone was so in-character, the voice acting was wonderful, and i don’t even know what to say about the dialogue- *this* is my new favorite headcanon. i’m obsessed
Love the Absolute Solver corruption scenes! This was a masterpiece and something that was DEFINITELY needed during that gap between Cabin Fever and Home! Thank you so much!

A few things I enjoy about this animatic / storyboard 1. It gives V some character development 2. It feels like a real episode 3. It very nicely foreshadows CynTessa and episode 7/8, especially the beginning dream sequence, with Uzi ripping Tessa’s chest open being a cool parallel to the “Let me in” scene in episode 8 4. You definitely put a ton of work into this and it shows. Absolutely phenomenal work.
It's like watching a filler episode of MD and then slowly and exponentially turns into one of the most important episodes of MD. I hope Liam sees this so he can see this masterpiece of a Fan made episode
Poor V... that rant of hers at the end feeling like her whole life has been nothing but a nightmare that she chose to kill and destroy as a way to numb the pain is just so heart wrenching to listen to the more I think about it. All she wanted in life was just to be happy with friends like N back at the mansion and Cyn cruelly stole it from her, turning V into a vicious monster for her own sick twisted scheme. V didn't deserve this, neither did N for that matter. They're both such tragic characters of the series. I really hope they get some form of justice in Ep 8 for all the horrors Cyn put them through. Oh yes, great job on this fan project by the way. This actually feels like an actual episode of the show. Heck, this kind of writing and character growth is something Ep 5 badly needed IMHO.
HAVING EPISODES BETWEEN THE EPISODES THAT ARE USED FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT INSTEAD OF PLOT OR HORROR IS AN AMAZING IDEA, THIS EPISODE NEEDS TO BE CANNON AND NO ONE CAN ARGUE OTHERWISE, BITE ME.
I already love Murder Drones, but this episode gave us something we didn’t know we needed. Not only did all three of them begin to turn into true friends, but this is the first time that we, and also Uzi and N, see V finally be vulnerable for once. After the hell she has been living through, it’s clear she would’ve gone completely crazy or killed herself if not for N being her one shining light
This is brilliant. It has very, very good storytelling. More consistent than the original. I have great love for drama, and it was at its finest. Wonderful character design. As in personalities. Drawing is awesome, and I frankly do not prefer high-detail visuals to high-detail story, so animatic is a wondrous thing! And personalities... this is so much Internecion Cube but better. I love how much it is similar to it in style and acting. And, of course, this episode clarifies a lot what was missed. It is not canon, this much is true. But it fixes the canon, which matters much more. Much love for the amazing work!
My own take on this fanmade episode, Honestly, give it an 8/10 V is easily the stand out character here, this episode gives her some much needed screentime, showing us a more sympathetic side, but still managing to keep V in character is a hard task, so it's cool that the creator pulled it off so well. Tho Uzi is a close second, showing Uzi dealing with the Solver, her learning to fly, just the perfect mix between being overly angsty and terrified. Seriously, those flashes of nightmares gave me shivers. N, while not being a standout like Uzi and V, I gotta say, when he asked Uzi if she could hear him when she was possessed, my heart broke and I'm not recovering from that for a month. Also N trying to teach Uzi flying is just, lmao. The fight scene in fun, and that's all I'm gonna say on that. Also, great soundtrack, jesus christ it was so frikkening cool. The characters have some great scene together, it feels natural written. Also the ending with Uzi saying they had a lead and were going to hack into they're memories. Tbh I would have prefered if Murder Drones had it so Uzi did actually hack into they're memories, as it would make it so that the characters were moving the plot instead of just waiting for it to happen, so I do love that, I screeched out of frikkening happiness when I heard that. Though I think my favorite scene would have to be the one where V is stalking Uzi, before seeing Uzi as her past self. V realizing that both her and Uzi got screwed over by the Solver, is just such a powerful moment for V, something that should have happened in the series itself. The comedy is good, but not to the point where I say it's another stand out of the episode. I've only watched this one time, and I will say, the flying scenes near the start of the episode are kinda mid, as the comedy was okay and the character interactions were okay, but nothing in them really stood out. Though it's not bad, I just personally think it was dragged on a bit too long. Murder Drones needed more character interactions, cuz while we loved the characters, at times I feel like some people could watch them all die and not care. This episode would fix this problem, unfortunately, it isn't canon, but it'll always be canon in my opinion. Honestly my biggest problem was it kinda did feel a bit slow during the flying scenes near the start. I have only watched it once, but this is still awesome. This episode is great, and as a fan made project, a masterpiece. Good job to you and your team!
Hi!! Thank you so much for your feedback. I agree that the content in the lighter scenes of the EP could've been improved in the episode. Since this is my first time attempting a project of this scale I did struggle to gage how much screentime should be dedicated to the more lighthearted portions. I think I could've either shaved them down or tried to make them stand out a little more. I'm not quite sure how, but I'm sure if I had more people to bounce ideas off of we could've come up with a way to make those portions even stronger. I'm happy you enjoyed the characterIzation of the trio! One of my goals with this project was to do a sorta character dissection. Figure out how these characters bounce off one another. I loved analyzing their goals/values and studying how that was reflected in their actions. My take on these three may be different than the actual series, but I think with the work I put in I was fairly successful in what I wanted to achieve. I think if I were to go back and attempt this episode again. I'd try to make the dialogue in the lighthearted portions snappier, and try to be more economical with screentime. I'm still a blooming writer and I want to become more meticulous with my narrative choices. Thank you so much for watching!
@@Ghoulinfuschia omg if I knew you'd actually read this I definitely would have spent more time on it, go into what makes the soundtrack work so good (it sounds like Murder Drones without the metal, and that's not a bad thing, in fact it fits the theme of a more character focused episode and with the horror elements), the detail put into this (the scene where when V saw her past self in Uzi, her reaction was shown in the reflection of her glasses, V taking a picture of N and Uzi earlier in the episode, since Lizzy is probably texting V in episode 7, tho idk if that detail was intentional or not considering this was already in development before episode 7) and talk about the horror (Murder Drones is marketed as a horror/comedy, this episode honestly feels like Murder Drones if it actually stuck to that marketing). Like, that starting scene is such a good hook, getting the audience to care for Uzi, picking up right after Cabin Fever, the horror grabs the audience attention while showing us how Uzi is being effected by the Solver. Thanks for reading the review and I know I already said this, but honestly this project is just so impressive, even with the amount of people who worked on it, this was such a huge task and the fact you only took 6 months to finish it- You deserve a good break.

This. This right here is one of if not THE best things that the MD fandom has ever made. The way that you perfectly encapsulated the characters' personalities and actions in 21 minutes is undeniably PEAK. Everything is so well put together and it fits flawlessly into the shows timeline. I am legitimately going to have to considering making this canon inside my head, because the canon show actually LOSES a lot of value (such as V's sacrifice being way less emotional) without it. Well done to you, and well done to everyone who contributed and worked on Intermission. It more than succeeded at it's mission, and it has everyone wanting more. ❤

I just found out this existed and holy crap, I would consider this essential to watch after episode 4. The much needed character development as well as explanations for why episode 5 begins the way it does along with why Uzi is suddenly proficient in flying is so good. I would PAY to have this animated in full 3D, its too good.

Perfect, just perfect. Leads perfectly from episode 4, goes perfectly into episode 5, gives us some emotional moments with V, explains why she's so violent and gruesome in earlier episodes, and of course shows how Uzi can fly so well. This fan episode explained so many plot holes and questions I had, this may as well be exactly what happend in the series. The characters were written and drawn so well, the messages in the eyes were perfect, the hair swap moment was so funny, i can't believe I never considered that as a thing that could happen. Truly, bravo to you and everyone who helped make this and thank you so much for this glorious piece of work.
After watching the finale, I realized how much I wish the rest of the series delved deeper into its characters like this. This demonstrated how much better the series could be if it allowed more time for character development. I want to clarify that I'm not saying Intermission is better than the main series, but it does showcase what the main series needed.

I think V pointing the sword at her past self is symbolic of her remembering how she felt when she was possessed by the Solver. Uzi is scared and confused - the same way V was feeling when the Solver infected HER mind. This helps V be less hostile to Uzi because V realises she can relate to her situation. She was just too far gone to notice that at the time
This is canon, no doubt about it. Everything about it fits the story so well, and it feels like the bit of breathing room we're missing in the actual show, where story is shoved in every second because of the limited time. This was amazing. AMAZING. And I love the part with V comparing herself to Uzi and seeing herself in her. This was really good, keep at it!
It’s honestly sad how this fan animatic did V more justice alone than the entire show ever did. First you see Uzi and V actually getting along which does follow up on Ep. 4 with V starting to warm up to both Uzi and the idea of Uzi and N being a thing, we get to see things clearly from her perspective (for once) and all of this makes what happens in episode 6 much more impactful and deserved. And it actually makes these three feel like a trio rather than it being just N and Uzi and V is just…there being a menace. Not only does V feel needed here, she feels wanted.

This just shows how even if Murder Drones ends, the fandom they built will still keep standing making masterpiece and cool stuff. And my honest opinion? Well, the truth is, it's wonderful, you literally changed the bad perception that I had about V, she is definitely now one of my favorite characters
This is is... incredible. The writing of this episode was, in my opinion, miles ahead what the show ever gave V. Not only does it logically precede episode 5, but you actually gave V something to _think_ for once. I absolutely adore the scene at 15:50 where she silently teaches Uzi how to change her hands. It really hammers home how she's just like N, but unlike N with his optimistic personality, she was unable to move past what happened to her, and let it consume her whole life. Seeing N believe so fiercly in "one little Worker" is helping her believe by proxy. The headpat is glorious, too. She didn't understand until she saw herself through Uzi: she's just like them. V didn't _want_ any of this to happen, and neither did Uzi. It's then that she realizes they're in the same boat. This whole animatic really helps make V's "I trust you" make a lot more sense, because I always wondered what exactly she was trusting her with. This intermission episode was something sorely needed in the show since we never got to see Uzi and V bond over anything. After seeing it come to life, it only cements my opinion more. If you ever had any doubt in your mind that those 6 months were worth it, then you better be rest assured they were fucking worth it.
OH MY GOSH I LOVE V IN THIS 😭😭😭 That one moment of her seeing her old self thru Uzi changed everything. It ties very well when we see V in the flashblack of Ep 5 and it explains her massive personality shift from then on too. Its just crazy to see how one moment like that seriously gives V a deeper development and I LOVE IT.

HONESTLY. this is the greatest fan made project of ANYTHING ive ever seen. this is such a gift to not only liam vickers and glitch, but to the fans too :D i adore the voice acting (VA's did a FANTASTICJOB!!!) and love all the background, sound editing and drawings the storyline is so realistic too and i love how the characters personalities and characteristics are nailed. FANTASTIC WORK, AS ALWAYS!

A few things I enjoy about this animatic / storyboard
1. It gives V some character development
2. It feels like a real episode
3. It very nicely foreshadows CynTessa and episode 7/8, especially the beginning dream sequence, with Uzi ripping Tessa’s chest open being a cool parallel to the “Let me in” scene in episode 8
4. You definitely put a ton of work into this and it shows. Absolutely phenomenal work.
and the fact he didn't even know the 'chest ripping scene' is crazier (its the start of the episode and this was worked on for 6 months)
It's like watching a filler episode of MD and then slowly and exponentially turns into one of the most important episodes of MD. I hope Liam sees this so he can see this masterpiece of a Fan made episode
Poor V... that rant of hers at the end feeling like her whole life has been nothing but a nightmare that she chose to kill and destroy as a way to numb the pain is just so heart wrenching to listen to the more I think about it. All she wanted in life was just to be happy with friends like N back at the mansion and Cyn cruelly stole it from her, turning V into a vicious monster for her own sick twisted scheme.
V didn't deserve this, neither did N for that matter. They're both such tragic characters of the series. I really hope they get some form of justice in Ep 8 for all the horrors Cyn put them through.
Oh yes, great job on this fan project by the way. This actually feels like an actual episode of the show. Heck, this kind of writing and character growth is something Ep 5 badly needed IMHO.
I love how it actually feels like a real episode, AND ties perfectly into the next episode of Murder Drones, amazing work!

I already love Murder Drones, but this episode gave us something we didn’t know we needed. Not only did all three of them begin to turn into true friends, but this is the first time that we, and also Uzi and N, see V finally be vulnerable for once. After the hell she has been living through, it’s clear she would’ve gone completely crazy or killed herself if not for N being her one shining light
Whoever played N was able to sometimes Compleatly match Michael's delivery. Just phenomenonal.
This is brilliant.
It has very, very good storytelling. More consistent than the original. I have great love for drama, and it was at its finest.
Wonderful character design. As in personalities. Drawing is awesome, and I frankly do not prefer high-detail visuals to high-detail story, so animatic is a wondrous thing! And personalities... this is so much Internecion Cube but better. I love how much it is similar to it in style and acting.
And, of course, this episode clarifies a lot what was missed. It is not canon, this much is true. But it fixes the canon, which matters much more.

My own take on this fanmade episode,
Honestly, give it an 8/10
V is easily the stand out character here, this episode gives her some much needed screentime, showing us a more sympathetic side, but still managing to keep V in character is a hard task, so it's cool that the creator pulled it off so well.
Tho Uzi is a close second, showing Uzi dealing with the Solver, her learning to fly, just the perfect mix between being overly angsty and terrified. Seriously, those flashes of nightmares gave me shivers.
N, while not being a standout like Uzi and V, I gotta say, when he asked Uzi if she could hear him when she was possessed, my heart broke and I'm not recovering from that for a month. Also N trying to teach Uzi flying is just, lmao.
The fight scene in fun, and that's all I'm gonna say on that.
Also, great soundtrack, jesus christ it was so frikkening cool.
The characters have some great scene together, it feels natural written. Also the ending with Uzi saying they had a lead and were going to hack into they're memories. Tbh I would have prefered if Murder Drones had it so Uzi did actually hack into they're memories, as it would make it so that the characters were moving the plot instead of just waiting for it to happen, so I do love that, I screeched out of frikkening happiness when I heard that.
Though I think my favorite scene would have to be the one where V is stalking Uzi, before seeing Uzi as her past self. V realizing that both her and Uzi got screwed over by the Solver, is just such a powerful moment for V, something that should have happened in the series itself.
The comedy is good, but not to the point where I say it's another stand out of the episode.
I've only watched this one time, and I will say, the flying scenes near the start of the episode are kinda mid, as the comedy was okay and the character interactions were okay, but nothing in them really stood out. Though it's not bad, I just personally think it was dragged on a bit too long.
Murder Drones needed more character interactions, cuz while we loved the characters, at times I feel like some people could watch them all die and not care. This episode would fix this problem, unfortunately, it isn't canon, but it'll always be canon in my opinion.
Honestly my biggest problem was it kinda did feel a bit slow during the flying scenes near the start.
I have only watched it once, but this is still awesome.
This episode is great, and as a fan made project, a masterpiece.

Hi!! Thank you so much for your feedback. I agree that the content in the lighter scenes of the EP could've been improved in the episode. Since this is my first time attempting a project of this scale I did struggle to gage how much screentime should be dedicated to the more lighthearted portions. I think I could've either shaved them down or tried to make them stand out a little more. I'm not quite sure how, but I'm sure if I had more people to bounce ideas off of we could've come up with a way to make those portions even stronger.
I'm happy you enjoyed the characterIzation of the trio! One of my goals with this project was to do a sorta character dissection. Figure out how these characters bounce off one another. I loved analyzing their goals/values and studying how that was reflected in their actions. My take on these three may be different than the actual series, but I think with the work I put in I was fairly successful in what I wanted to achieve. I think if I were to go back and attempt this episode again. I'd try to make the dialogue in the lighthearted portions snappier, and try to be more economical with screentime.
I'm still a blooming writer and I want to become more meticulous with my narrative choices. Thank you so much for watching!
@@Ghoulinfuschia omg if I knew you'd actually read this I definitely would have spent more time on it, go into what makes the soundtrack work so good (it sounds like Murder Drones without the metal, and that's not a bad thing, in fact it fits the theme of a more character focused episode and with the horror elements), the detail put into this (the scene where when V saw her past self in Uzi, her reaction was shown in the reflection of her glasses, V taking a picture of N and Uzi earlier in the episode, since Lizzy is probably texting V in episode 7, tho idk if that detail was intentional or not considering this was already in development before episode 7) and talk about the horror (Murder Drones is marketed as a horror/comedy, this episode honestly feels like Murder Drones if it actually stuck to that marketing). Like, that starting scene is such a good hook, getting the audience to care for Uzi, picking up right after Cabin Fever, the horror grabs the audience attention while showing us how Uzi is being effected by the Solver.

This. This right here is one of if not THE best things that the MD fandom has ever made. The way that you perfectly encapsulated the characters' personalities and actions in 21 minutes is undeniably PEAK. Everything is so well put together and it fits flawlessly into the shows timeline. I add this into my watch between episodes 4 and 5 for when I'm binging MD
Perfect, just perfect. Leads perfectly from episode 4, goes perfectly into episode 5, gives us some emotional moments with V, explains why she's so violent and gruesome in earlier episodes, and of course shows how Uzi can fly so well. This fan episode explained so many plot holes and questions I had, this may as well be exactly what happend in the series. The characters were written and drawn so well, the messages in the eyes were perfect, the hair swap moment was so funny, i can't believe I never considered that as a thing that could happen. Truly, bravo to you and everyone who helped make this and thank you so much for this glorious piece of work.
After watching the finale, I realized how much I wish the rest of the series delved deeper into its characters like this. This demonstrated how much better the series could be if it allowed more time for character development. I want to clarify that I'm not saying Intermission is better than the main series, but it does showcase what the main series needed.

I think V pointing the sword at her past self is symbolic of her remembering how she felt when she was possessed by the Solver. Uzi is scared and confused - the same way V was feeling when the Solver infected HER mind. This helps V be less hostile to Uzi because V realises she can relate to her situation. She was just too far gone to notice that at the time

This is canon, no doubt about it. Everything about it fits the story so well, and it feels like the bit of breathing room we're missing in the actual show, where story is shoved in every second because of the limited time. This was amazing. AMAZING. And I love the part with V comparing herself to Uzi and seeing herself in her. This was really good, keep at it!

It’s honestly sad how this fan animatic did V more justice alone than the entire show ever did. First you see Uzi and V actually getting along which does follow up on Ep. 4 with V starting to warm up to both Uzi and the idea of Uzi and N being a thing, we get to see things clearly from her perspective (for once)
and all of this makes what happens in episode 6 much more impactful and deserved.
And it actually makes these three feel like a trio rather than it being just N and Uzi and V is just…there being a menace. Not only does V feel needed here, she feels wanted.

This just shows how even if Murder Drones ends, the fandom they built will still keep standing making masterpiece and cool stuff.
And my honest opinion? Well, the truth is, it's wonderful, you literally changed the bad perception that I had about V, she is definitely now one of my favorite characters

This is is... incredible.
The writing of this episode was, in my opinion, miles ahead what the show ever gave V. Not only does it logically precede episode 5, but you actually gave V something to _think_ for once. I absolutely adore the scene at 15:50 where she silently teaches Uzi how to change her hands. It really hammers home how she's just like N, but unlike N with his optimistic personality, she was unable to move past what happened to her, and let it consume her whole life. Seeing N believe so fiercly in "one little Worker" is helping her believe by proxy. The headpat is glorious, too. She didn't understand until she saw herself through Uzi: she's just like them. V didn't _want_ any of this to happen, and neither did Uzi. It's then that she realizes they're in the same boat.
This whole animatic really helps make V's "I trust you" make a lot more sense, because I always wondered what exactly she was trusting her with. This intermission episode was something sorely needed in the show since we never got to see Uzi and V bond over anything. After seeing it come to life, it only cements my opinion more. If you ever had any doubt in your mind that those 6 months were worth it, then you better be rest assured they were fucking worth it.

I know everyone else in the comments is saying it, but this honestly felt like an actual murder drones episode. The voices and dialogue were really good and really liked the plot tie in as to when and why they decided to delve into N and V's minds.
MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE, SOUL AND BODY SCREAMING HAPPINESS IN UNISON. IT'S FEELING SO BEAUTIFUL.
BTW I HOPE ONE DAY GLITCH WILL USE ANIMATIC ONE DAY

This honestly was a really nice episode, I might've seen it like 3 months late but fantastic work on this!! It really felt like it would be an official episode, it was really enjoyable to watch and I think you nailed the characters and story :D

HONESTLY. this is the greatest fan made project of ANYTHING ive ever seen. this is such a gift to not only liam vickers and glitch, but to the fans too :D
i adore the voice acting (VA's did a FANTASTICJOB!!!) and love all the background, sound editing and drawings
the storyline is so realistic too and i love how the characters personalities and characteristics are nailed.
