    It’s absolutely elegant. And it’s also expensive in Thailand. I love crepemyrtles.

    Lovely plants. What myrtle you can advise for USDA zone 6b?

      Thank you! In your zone Crapemyrtles will perform as a perennial, coming back from the ground each Spring and getting to be 3ft. tall. Flowers would arrive in late Summer.

      @@j.berrynursery im repotting some cuttings , what soil mix do you recommend? I grow mine in pots mostly

    • @j.berrynursery
      @j.berrynursery  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Joanne, Hopefully not Black Diamond cuttings, we do not allow self-propagation, however a soil mix that is good for moisture retention with slow release plant food added in will work well for you. The Good Dirt brand has an outdoor potting mix available online. They include probiotics and their BogBits for root aeration. Just let us know any additional information that would be of help. Thank you for posting!🙂

    Hi. Is it possible to grow these black diamonds to look like trees? I have 2 right now that are about 5 ft but look more like shrubs but am waiting them to mature in to the tree look, I can't really find any mature black diamond pics online.

      @@jberrynursery I am just wondering because in the video it says radiant red gets very large . unlike the others

    • @jberrynursery
      @jberrynursery 2 роки тому +2

      @@christophersmalling8889 It is a more vigorous grower - it will reach the heights faster than the others. In some areas and climates it may continue growth past this 12x8, that is just the typical size we have noticed its growth pattern stop maturing or at least slow down at that point.

      @@jberrynursery Do you have any idea what the typical size would be for South Floridas climate?

    • @jberrynursery
      @jberrynursery 2 роки тому +1

      @@christophersmalling8889 It has not been trialed to our knowledge to get any taller than 12 foot in at least 5 years, but if the growth continues in your area - we are learning as it grows as well. I am sorry if this sounds vague. But it is the best I can do for now.
