Tioga Pass, CA if anyone was wondering. This is the road coming out of Yosemite and going into Owens Valley. This road is crazy steep not to mention the 500ft straight drop off the edge on the right
this video is straight up norcal roots. we just found liam's Amtrak ticket stub in a pocket of a tent a couple days ago, from 2010. i miss skating with these fools
Rad road, some huuuge rocks laying about 'eh. Liam! I really hope that car dodge,near miss manoeuvre works out for you in the future buddy... ride safe.
@alteredgrind the concave is so good, never had any foot slips or anything, 0.75" is the biggest you will see going around for concave... so yeah its amazing
Yes, I fully agree with you. But I'd like to add that it's not necessary to buy precisions to go fast. Ofcourse you can go faster on precisions but the rider is still a bigger factor. :)
@Kmann2202 No, the deck is drilled old school and indy's are drilled new school. Either get hybrids or core baseplates and make ur own hybrids or drill your indy plates for old school mounting.
I know the cameras not huge but the whole rig it big compared to a go pro but you get the best footage with one of these and must take some skill to ride while passing it around
@shazzbazz740 the sector nine video you're referring to is called second nature! sick film, and actually liam morgan looks up to those guys as his inspiration essentialy, thats why his riding style is so similar. Norcal, G4L Sick sick vid
@Purplesmurfmuffinz Thank you, also for trucks should i get gunmetals if i want a stable truck at around 40mph, i am actually doing technical dh and non techy so i am going to get the grease hammer.
@ElitePoopJerky they are pretty much the same board except for the size which really just comes down to preference. they would both be great for that setup, i ride a hammer now and its one of the sickest boards ever but i wouldn't recommend for big drifts just spins and more technical freeride
@tonymarchuk no bro, flywheels. you can see in the begining when david vannasing is holding the greasehammers. i dont think liam morgan would use freerides for a dh wheel lol
@FilthProductions1 coz they have no need for square lips theyre pretty much going straight. besides a big wheel like a flywheel would be ideal here so you dont get thrown by any little rocks you hit.
whats the best degree truck for this deck?? I tried it with my friends 50s and 77mm freerides and I caught the wobs at 20 and ate major shit. That isnt supposed to happen Ive done 45+ on an arbor vugenhausen with 52s. Should I run it with 42s??
try maybe when tucking put more of your weight on your front foot, run your trucks not to tight but not to loose and also tighten you back trucks slightly more than your front so you have more turn in the front and more stability in the back because you don't have as much weight on the back.
Well obviously almost everything is bigger than a GoPro. Those were meant to be helmet cams. And I know you get the best footage with one of these I have one. And its not as difficult as it seems but it is more difficult if they have more turns.
this video gets me so stoked. i wish i didn't have to sleep, I'd probably skate 24/7 if I could.

haha ^^
ahhh i skate with davis every tuesday!
Alpine Grease was rad, this was radder. Excellent work boys, looking forward to the release!
liam may be like the best free rider but he's also the gnarliest downhiller!!!
when bonobo started playing, it got sooo chill
You guys have the sickest videos. that mountain is insane!
you guys were haulin'. much faster this time compared to last vid. what a dreamy road. see you in the south bay soon..
best dh video ive ever seen. so chill but yet so freaky if they fell they could have gone off a cliff..!!!
For those of you who are wondering... The hill is 8% grade steepness. I've been down it and checked the signs
yeah soooo sickk dope comet rules!! liam and davis killin it man.
liam morgan has so much style
nice! i loved alpine grease as well
History right here
thats such a beautiful hill! such smooth clean tarmac!
lovein the raptor stance good vid

So awesome!!!!!!
@alteredgrind the concave is so good, never had any foot slips or anything, 0.75" is the biggest you will see going around for concave... so yeah its amazing
looks beautiful in 720p
The song makes this shit seem so chill and easy but i bet that was intense as fuck
Yes, I fully agree with you. But I'd like to add that it's not necessary to buy precisions to go fast. Ofcourse you can go faster on precisions but the rider is still a bigger factor. :)
sickest thing i have ever seen.
wieght over the front and not the back plus a good tuck can prevent wobbles. but they do have some sick tucks & i couldnt move around like that
@Kmann2202 No, the deck is drilled old school and indy's are drilled new school. Either get hybrids or core baseplates and make ur own hybrids or drill your indy plates for old school mounting.
second nature style! i like that!
Loose trucks are a must for downhill IMO. If you cant handle riding loose trucks then get a harder bushing setup.
actually loose trucks might be unstable for new riders, but its all about preference.
grease hammer with a voodoo doll graphic sickk i want one of those
Lovin the swallowtail voodoo doll
I know the cameras not huge but the whole rig it big compared to a go pro but you get the best footage with one of these and must take some skill to ride while passing it around
they are running 44 10" calibers. the white wheels are venom cannibals and greens are abec 11 freerides
@shazzbazz740 the sector nine video you're referring to is called second nature! sick film, and actually liam morgan looks up to those guys as his inspiration essentialy, thats why his riding style is so similar. Norcal, G4L
Sick sick vid
they are "tucking" more likely. tucking makes speed wobbles lesser chance to happen, for my point of view.
Just goes to show how good calibers are.
my bad ,they are flywheels. didnt see the vented core. u can use freeerides for dh they come in a 77mm too
@Purplesmurfmuffinz alright thanks i might actually go with the 44 degree ones just for more stability
@686yeti It's a bushing on a longer truck bolt.
25,466 people have watched this vid wow! HELL YA DAVIS AND LIAM KEEP IT UP
daaaamn!! awesome
@Purplesmurfmuffinz Thank you, also for trucks should i get gunmetals if i want a stable truck at around 40mph, i am actually doing technical dh and non techy so i am going to get the grease hammer.
if you are trying to ask what they used to hold the camera, then its a homemade fig rig. you can make it out of pvc.
@ElitePoopJerky they are pretty much the same board except for the size which really just comes down to preference. they would both be great for that setup, i ride a hammer now and its one of the sickest boards ever but i wouldn't recommend for big drifts just spins and more technical freeride
@Rellepog Yeah but i think they are the only abec wheels with that kind of core so it seems like that is them.
i´ve watched it 8 times since i ordered my board.. i ordered it yesterday lol
@tonymarchuk no bro, flywheels. you can see in the begining when david vannasing is holding the greasehammers. i dont think liam morgan would use freerides for a dh wheel lol
@lukascedving1994 they are both perfect for it, the wheel wells on the grease are so effective you can ride CALIBER 44's with 75mm wheels
Yes.....yes they are
@Rellepog I think they are Fly Wheels, not to sure though
The camera they are holding is huge looks like it on a stabilization mount
gnarly just gnarly
nah, it was a limited edition thing, it was only sold for a month or something.
I've always been afraid for the alpine ways because what if you drives off the road, like in 2:55 where there's no fence. :O
omg those rocks are sickk and dangerous??!!?!?!? Nice video btw!
@ChocolateLemonss nope. flywheels have a much bigger core. those are centerset freerides buddy ;)
Sector 9 are a rad as company shouldn't get any hate just because they make cruisers and carvers as well
what do you think douglas dalue does at newtons playground? crazy shit but it happens...
thinkin about getting a grease hammer...are they good for like long standies and stuff
@FilthProductions1 coz they have no need for square lips theyre pretty much going straight. besides a big wheel like a flywheel would be ideal here so you dont get thrown by any little rocks you hit.
@TheLaChLaN96 it stops your foot from sliding off the board... hence the name toestop.
I want to skate this.
I'm 5'3 and I can't decide between the Grease Shark, or Grease Hammer
@FilthProductions1
maybe the because the only corners are wide sweepers?
@fearsrampage1313 Great explanation, thankyou.
I meant how does it help? Like what does it do?
@tonymarchuk no i think they are flywheels
@laxinjewjew24 yes. the best board for doing huge standies. it has so much foot space
whats the best degree truck for this deck?? I tried it with my friends 50s and 77mm freerides and I caught the wobs at 20 and ate major shit. That isnt supposed to happen Ive done 45+ on an arbor vugenhausen with 52s. Should I run it with 42s??

you can´t get it anymore, it was a limited edition graphic.
Should I get 44 or 50 degree calibers for this board? Mainly for downhill/sliding.
@harrisoncheek abec 11 flywheels probably 76 mm
@NelsonLongboarding thanks dude!
@Basiccrew hey im thinkin about gettin the voodoo d2, and i was wondering if it could hit the same speeds as the grease hammer?
would you reccomend the charly no limit?
ive always wondered, what road is this? it looks amazing.
Man this place looks so amazing to skate but is the grease hammer pretty heavy? just curious
should that thing at 2:33 really be on that road?
Well obviously almost everything is bigger than a GoPro. Those were meant to be helmet cams. And I know you get the best footage with one of these I have one. And its not as difficult as it seems but it is more difficult if they have more turns.
if i am getting a comet board for non techy dh bout 45-50mph which one will be more stable comet grease shark or comet grease hammer? thanks
@harrisoncheek flywheels probably, or freerides
how do you crouch down so low without getting speed wobbles
@Fishystail Because there isnt a shark with the word Shrimp in it.
yo does anyone know if the mounting holes on indy's will match up with the deck? thanks
I thought they were flywheels??? But ya It would be really scary to do with freerides unless they were centerset
@P1ty211 Yeah but I have a grease hammer and 76mm seems to bite a bit :/
how fast is this??? looks so fun!
What if you got speed wobble and went to the right?
does anybody known where i can get the graphics they have instead of the orange hammer head version? please reply im about too buy a grease hammer
@Purplesmurfmuffinz i am about 5 feet and 6 inches
and what degree/ mm callibers?
Can you send the plans for the stabilization rig or the url?
hey, i'm like 5'10" and i ride with a pretty wide stance, would this board be too small for me?
is this a good board for sliding also?
@PRskater64 definitly 44s for a top mount
i know what a speed tuck is bud :) but i dont get how they can crouch so low like that
What is the purpose of a toe stop??
that way he doesnt have to think about where he's supposted to put his foot. :)
What type of abec 11 wheels is liam using? flywheels or freerides?
now lets see some freeride:)
already ordered this board its weird how this video is already 1 year old
