- To celebrate Chinese New Year 2022, we wanted to take you back to Burwood which we think is Sydney second Chinatown. One of the perfect spot to savour some delicious Chinese Food, Hong Kong or Cantonese Food and even cheap street food. If you are looking for a perfect spot to reminisce about Asian cuisine then Burwood is a must eat spot you need to explore.

There are so many Chinese restaurants in Sydney that does very good Chinese food with various range of prices. Burwood is fast becoming central of Chinese cuisine in Sydney but today we show our our personal opinion of best Chinese restaurants in Burwood. We normally visited these restaurants for couple of times. Note another two that we love are Mr. Stonebowl and Sydney Dumpling King (Sydney's institution of dumpling shop). In this food vlog, we tried some dan dan noodles, scallion oil noodles, spicy wontons, guo kui or Chinese crispy pancake, and classic Cantonese food like chow mein and sizzling hot pot. These are our favourite food to eat around Sydney Burwood and hope you enjoy the food tour!

I think Nick and Helmi are doing things right... Breakfast - NOODLE, Lunch - NOODLE, Supper - NOODLE, Dinner - NOODLE... Have some fried meats on the side and you got the perfect day. But important to always save some room for dessert hahahaha.

Canton Noodle House is so good and great value. I love the XO beef and Japanese tofu hotpot, it's sooo good. Btw, you should try adding a little red vinger to your combination stir-fried noodles, it gives you a little tang and cuts the greese.

Never heard hojicha described as "stronger matcha" before! 😂 I think the roasting of the green tea makes a huge difference in flavour between them, I'm not a huge fan of matcha but love the nutty toasted flavour of hojicha 😁

This is making me hungry!! That Peach Oolong Tea sounds amazing!! The combination of the sweetness of the Peach and bitterness of the Tea sounds like perfection. After watching your video i have been to burwood three times. The spicy wantons were amazing. The chill oil vinsger sauce is the best. I felt their dadan mein was a bit too garlicy and i love garlic. Didnt have enogh sechwan peppercorns for me. I was excited to try the Chow mein as it looked so good on your plate but it was a bit bland and very oily. Maybe they had an off day Those meat filled pastries were incredible especially the beef. Thanks for the vid.

Iv never eaten in Burwood. But im gunna have 2 try it. Btw can anybody recommend a place 2 get junk food? I mean sweet dried cuttlefish, pork floss, and i remember a sweet (Kind of) beef jerky? Id love to re live those excellent flavors. Best food i ever had was via a friend from hk.

I am a new subscriber and first to view it. Greetings from Malaysia. The reason I subscribe is to say thanks for staying without masks for most of your outings, showing an image of pandemic recovery. Its very hard to find Asians walking without a mask in public during pandemic. Mostly are westerners.
They would have worn masks indoors as it is still mandatory here. Just not when they were eating though.
Yeah we're wearing mask indoor except when we are eating. We still wear mask outside when there are lots of people and nothing wrong regardless asian or non-asians, lots of westerners here also wearing mask outside. It's not mandatory to wear mask outside but no harm too
